After a quick intro Scott shares with us how the progression of building this program with their national softball team. These steps have gone from using dropbox and excel to where they are now using an athlete management software and bar velocity monitoring. He then shares with us how he is continuing to work his different teams and continue monitoring and communicating with the athletes and coaches when they’re on the road. Next, he dives into the work he has done to look into how strong is strong enough, including what lifts they look at, why they look at them, and where this “magic number” is that he’s seeing. Looking at these numbers and then “bucketing” the players into “strong enough” and “not strong enough” groups has brought about great results for him and his athlete.
