Ep 16. The most underrated visibility strategy
When people ask you what you do, what do you say? I’m gonna bet you mumble through something super vague … and you probably do it really quickly because you think no one’s gonna understand what the heck an online coach even is. Amiright?You would be STUNNED how many people have entered my world because of a clear “what I do” statement. People will often respond with, “Oh my gosh! My sister is a coach! I should send her your way.” Or months later I’ll get an email saying, “Sophia I was just speaking to a friend of a friend and she’s really struggling with social media. Are you taking clients? If so, I’d love to connect her with you.” Why did they think of me all that time later? Because…I clearly shared what I did in a sentenceAnd the language I used was language my ideal client used Now – in their mind – I’m the first person they’ll think of when someone in their world expresses the pain point I solve. In this episode I share a story about this playing out recently and I also walk you through some templates you can steal so you can stop missing out on this super easy visibility strategy.

I take you through an engagement equation to help you uncover what kind of engagement you should actually expect for the size of your following. Now you know if you should stop obsessing over “low” engagement so you can use that energy for something productive, or if your concerns are valid. Either way, it will help you uncover your next step. If your top value is showing up authentically online, you want to listen to this. Especially if you feel like strategies make you feel inauthentic. I share 3 truths that I hope will help you see strategies in a different light. Especially if you have trouble……showing up if you’re uninspired …staying consistent with strategies because you don’t want people to think you’re tricking them into signing up for a lead magnet or taking some other action on social …using strategies in general because they just seem so slimy and you’d rather create content and wait for opportunities to come to you…NOT people pleasing online (ie. giving too much in DMs / discovery calls / connection calls, etc) Consider this my love letter to the people who do NOT want to feel icky online and are afraid of being judged as inauthentic.
