Outlier's Edge Podcast is a live coaching podcast where we come together in conversation to work through the challenges and apply the gifts of being a unique tribe of high-performing, high-impact entrepreneurs, changemakers, and leaders who choose to play a bigger game of impact, influence, and income than we've ever play before.
What's an Outlier?
An Outlier is a high-performing, high-impact leader who often is:
One of the Only: Thrive in systems/environments that were not designed to have someone like them succeed,
One of the First: Thrive doing things no one else has ever done or dares to even try
One of a Kind: Thrive on their unconventional and independent terms regardless of what others around them are doing
THIS IS A PODCAST FOR PEOPLE WHO:
- aren't afraid of "playing small", but are scared of "thinking medium".
- Are exploring new frontiers in society or their field
- Are at the top of their field or business against typical odds and expectations from others like them,
- Are taking an independent and unconventional approach outside of the status-quo
- know that their mindsets, limiting beliefs, and other internal struggles are actually shared with other leaders who stand for a new vision of the future and change the world for those they lead

Features the unique stories of a different trailblazing leader as we explore the *inner* journey they went on as they were creating the outer results we all got to see.
*Part 2 - Your Edge*
Since this group of people are already out on the edge, traditional information doesn’t always serve them. They need new insights and perspectives, and the best way I know how to do that is through coaching.
Each guest will have the option to play on their edge and get coaching around a challenge or a possibility they are working towards.
I'm playing on my edge here as well. I have typically reserved coaching for my high-performing, high-impact clients as closed door sessions.
It keeps my clients safe, and it keeps me safe.

A Journey of Vulnerability, Being Present and Serving Powerfully
As we start things off with the Outliers, Pioneers, and Mavericks conversations, I feel it's important to make sure I'm showing the real journey, not just the polished version that makes it all look easy and flawless. So let's start with what I don't want you to know about me... I recorded this conversation in December of 2017... and didn't publish it for another year and a half. There are a lot of reasons for that including energy fatigue of keeping up a podcast, not feeling aligned with where the podcast was going, and probably the most honest of them all, embarrassment because I had let so much time go by since we had initially recorded the session. I feel it's important to document my journey as an Outlier, Pioneer, and Maverick myself. And one of the things I've learned is that if you choose to be the first, the only, or one of a kind, there are times when it can feel scary to put your ambitions, dreams, and visions into the world. If there's anything I feel the simple act of releasing this conversation 1.5 years later shows, is that it's never too late to create the future you want to see in the present you are in.

We are “a lot”. That’s why we’ll change the world! I’m done holding back. I’m done shrinking for the masses. I am a lot and that’s one of my greatest assets. This video was a video I started making for myself as my energy around the epiphany was too much to write. Then the energy became too much to just keep to myself. This video is for you and all leaders who are tired of holding back who you are to fit-in. Who are done with turning down who you are because others can’t handle it. Who have learned to shrink because others say “you’re too much”! I say you are even more amazing than you know and we need even more of you. Your world, our world, and the world needs a set of leaders who come from a place of abundance, who share powerful visions and positive possibilities, and bring all of who they are to create a future distinct from the past.
