Eyvy is a young Norwegian bitcoiner who, after hearing the stories of other bitcoiners who became interested and got involved in regenerative farming, decided to give up on his 'white collar' career and do the same. He has since bought some land and cattle, and begun his journey of learning how to raise and grow nutritious food, in a manner that is regenerative to the ecosystem, and both 'environmentally' and financially sustainable.  This is a subject that myself, as well as many other bitcoiners are interested in, so I was very happy when Eyvy booked himself in to the show, so I could ask him all the questions I have about his experiences to this point, what he has learned, and how engaging in this kind of work has changed his perspective on many things. James O'Beirne is a friend and contributor to Bitcoin Core since 2015. Jameson Lopp is a technologist who has been involved in the bitcoin space for over 10 years. He has worked at bitcoin companies, created and contributed to several educational resources, and co-founded Casa, a service which helps customers self-custody their bitcoin. I've recently been trying a new method of booking guests for the show, by posting a Calendly link, and allowing anyone who wishes to come on to book themselves in. I ask them to give a brief summary of what they'd like to discuss, and if it sounds interesting (and has nothing to do with shitcoins), then we go ahead with it. At the bitcoin 2022 conference, the President of Madeira got on stage, and announced that Madeira was 'adopting' bitcoin. While this led to much excitement about another potential 'bitcoin citadel' emerging, it also left many questions. Since that time, a number of bitcoiners who are either from there, or have moved there, have been advising the government on what they can do to make Madeira more appealing to bitcoiners that may wish to visit, or even move there. Simultaneously, this same group has been working on a number of grassroots initiatives in Madeira, to promote bitcoin, educate locals, build infrastructure, and communicate to the world what is going on there, all of which, and more, have been formalized into the 'F.R.E.E. Madeira initiative'. Most people in the world don't yet realize that the internet is currently entering a new era.
