A 17-year-old has been charged in the deadly Kenosha shootings and police say the shooters motive is unclear. The Kenosha curfew is hours away as the Justice Department is sending federal law enforcement. Wisconsin Justice Department and Kenosha police are not releasing the details of the shooting. Trump is vowing to crackdown on violence in Kenosha.

The United States coronavirus deaths top 179,000 with 5.8 million cases. An official says that the CDC pressured "from top down" to recommend fewer tests. At least 26 states are reporting new cases in college students as universities struggle to control the spread of the virus.
