236. Health is Cumulative - So What's Next?

I am dedicating today's episode to discussing the cumulative nature of your health, how the current events and your current lifestyle affect your goals. We often look at one aspect of our lifestyle and pinpoint that as the culprit for our problems, when really there is so much more to factor in.    Learning to look back at your history, trauma and lifestyle will help you build a plan for a better future. In this episode, I discuss how to view your cumulative health and where to go from there.  DUTCH testing form: https://drbethwestie.com/dutch-hormone-testing/

229. A Special Announcement with Dr. Victoria Nelson

I am so excited to introduce you to Dr. Victoria Nelson, the newest member of the Dr. Beth Westie team! She will be working alongside me to bring even more value and resources to you and all of our clients.  Dr. Victoria Nelson grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota, where she cultivated her passion for sports, playing hockey and softball competitively through college. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Clinical Movement Science from the University of Minnesota. She also played club hockey at the University of MN during her time there. After the University of Minnesota, she went on to graduate school where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Victoria is currently a practicing chiropractor in St. Michael, MN. Dr. Victoria has a passion for empowering women to take control of their own health journey through education and guidance. This passion was sparked by her own health challenges, as she has suffered from debilitating migraines throughout her life. Through her own process, she had to learn ways to help reduce those migraines with nutrition and chiropractic care. She takes those experiences into her practice to better serve her patients, and she is excited to now bring that passion to the Dr. Beth Westie team.  Outside of work, Dr. Victoria enjoys being outdoors at the cabin, spending time with her friends, family, and two dogs Edward and Ryley. She has also been a member of the Ice Crew for the Minnesota Wild since 2014. Find Victoria:  Instagram: @victorianelson_dc

Increased stress and cortisol is something many of us deal with on a daily basis, and it can be very harmful to overall health and wellbeing. Most women do not realize how much stress is actually contributing to weight gain and retention. Chronic stress can lead to adrenal fatigue or cortisol dis-regulation, which impacts so many women.  Join the 12 week program waitlist: www.drbethwestie.com/waitlist
