047: How To Align Your Yoga Routine With Your Energy & Fitness Goals
There are several different types of yoga, and each has different goals. I’m not talking about different schools of yoga (like hatha or yin yoga), but different focuses of yoga. For example, some routines focus on muscle activation to build strength. Some focus on your range of motion and flexibility to prevent injuries. And others aren’t even fitness-focused, and instead are best used to reduce stress and fortify your mental health. So, which type of yoga should you choose? Well, it depends on two things: 1. Your daily goals: What do you want to accomplish today? Are you combining your workout with another routine? Or using yoga as a standalone workout? 2.
