When should you quit? When is continuing actually harming you? In this show we hear from Zig Ziglar about a guy pursuing what he deemed as...success. But once unpacked...realized the direction he was going was not at all going to produce was he wanted. I think aspects of the message speak to...all of us. Truly. 634: Overcoming your limiting beliefs
What are your limiting beliefs? In show 631 I talked with Mastin Kipp, author of “Claim Your Power” where his primary focus is finding your purpose...and the vehicle is understanding and overcoming...past trauma. Don’t just think tragedy, but any event in your life that helped create limiting beliefs, which we ALL, have. Powerful show, again, #631. I’ve been enamored with the message and have been working through the book in detail. But I wanted to hear more...and hear from you regarding Mastin’s message of hope and turning your trauma and limiting beliefs...into power. So I asked on Facebook, "What is a limiting belief you work to overcome?" I asked it in that way because, you may never totally get rid of it, even if you are able to succeed anyway. A big deal question…of course...we got great responses. 631: Mastin Kipp, How to dissolve your trauma and move forward
In this show we are talking about a big premise: that all your limits. All the handicaps of your mind, all your anchors and achilles heels and everything holding you back from your full potential come from...a primary source. Sounds too much already, doesn’t it? Just another claim to be the holy grail. I feel you. But then after this talk...well, it’s pretty convicting. If it’s not THE primary thing, I have now come to believe it is one of the TOP...primary things. And it is...unresolved trauma in your life. And before you say, “Hey, I’ve never had any real trauma, I’ve never been abused or lacked for much...you could have come from a privileged home and loving parents and tried to live up to high expectations that became somewhat of an anchor for you that you are imprisoned in or tired of...but the point, you have a limiting factor or belief rooted in your past programming and wiring. And until you get rewired, you will be stuck or at least handicapped. We hear a message from Zig Ziglar on how we all succumb to lifetime conditioning. Literally how we all tend to give more attention and value to taller people than shorter, just as an example. And how it affects us all. From this message I posted on Facebook, this question:
"Do you have any labels attached to you? 1) What positive labels have you lived up to, and/or, 2) What negative labels have you had to overcome (or maybe want to)?" NOTE - These labels could have been given to you, or self-imposed.

629: Changing up your habits to keep them fresh - Habits with Lori Harder
We are back with Lori Harder. Being a three time fitness champion, you’d of course expect some healthy habits. But physical is just ONE of the spokes, right? Some things she shared...She has a spoken, morning mantra. Her rule for decisions is whether she feels a full body yes or not, and a healthy habit for her marriage is she’s learning to golf for her husband and he’s taking ballroom dancing lessons for her. But what was really interesting is her talking about the need to change her habits frequently to keep them from getting stagnant. I think this will be freeing and exciting to a lot of you...it sure was confirming for me, as I’m the same.You’ll enjoy hear this show and of course be...inspired.

We hear a short message from Zig Ziglar on mindset, and the reality that you can't change from a negative mindset to a positive mindset without changing your input from negative to positive. Sounds simplistic, but then, so is eating only from the salad bar when you’re at a pizza place...totally abstaining from the pizza. Simple. But diabolically hard. So it’s a significant perspective you’ll want to hear from Zig. 627: Lori Harder - How to create your supportive tribe
We talk with Lori Harder, about the power, necessity and opportunity of having a tribe. It’s just an irrefutable fact that people with strong social circles live longer, happier, healthier lives. But how do you achieve this for your own life? We cover it in a massively equipping conversation in this show.
I asked Lori to join me because she has one of the top ranked health podcasts on the planet called "Earn your happy", she recently published a book titled "A Tribe Called Bliss", and she is just massively inspiring a lot of people. She grew up in an unhealthy, uninspiring home and it compelled her to go a radically different direction. She started off in the fitness world and ultimately became a three time fitness world champion. She's been featured on the cover of the world's top fitness magazines as a model 18 times, and published articles in those mags as well. But all that to me seems a small beginning compared to where she's gone from there. She now has two million dollar businesses and is a self-proclaimed personal development junkie. Friends, I read and review a lot of books. Her's...I asked for more of. I took some home. My wife dove in and gave books to HER tribe. Lori has some powerful insights that I'll wager you will find yourself lacking in and massively empowered by Lori to pursue and conquer. Personally she got me looking yet again at my boundaries, or lack of, and how I deal with expectations in my relationships, so I...can have a healthier tribe.
Ultimately Lori’s book and message is based off the concept that you become who you are surrounded with! That you become the sum of the 5 people you are closet with!
