It was also announced that theaters in California could begin reopening in a limited capacity starting this weekend with most theaters across the globe, including AMC Theatres, opening by mid-July. New Tenet Trailer, David Ayer's Suicide Squad & Space Force Reviews

New Tenet Trailer, David Ayer's Suicide Squad & Space Force ReviewsIn our first episode with out a guest in....a long time, we are jam packed with news and reviews for you. Christopher Nolan's Tenet dropped a brand new, mind-bending trailer this past week. The guys give their reactions, and break down just what exactly is going on. Needless to say, we are all very excited. Following the announcement of Zack Snyder's Justice League cut hitting HBO Max next year, many fans, and David Ayer himself, have taken to social media with pleas for the same chance to be given to Ayer and his original vision for Suicide Squad which was infamously altered in the wake of Zack Snyder's departure from Justice League. We discuss further what this moment in fandom and the Hollywood system means moving forward, and if we think it's a warranted comparison. And as luck would have, a similar, although seemingly futile, effort is also being drummed up with Solo: A Star Wars Story fans as they campaigned for a continuation of that storyline from Disney on the anniversary of its release. Franchise movie fans are having a bit of a moment, and we're here for it. We also discuss Scott Derrickson being tapped to direct a Labyrinth sequel, review Steve Carell's new Netflix series Space Force and more. This week's BlendGame takes a look at the staggering career of Natalie Portman, and we each came to the table with a different pick! Next week, we are going to debate our FAVORITE twists of all time with #TwistBlend. This Week In Movies (er...Streaming) The High Note (VOD)Uncut Gems (Netflix)Space Force (series, Netflix)8:40 - Weekly Poll: Which film should we do a commentary for next?20:20 - News: Tenet Trailer, David Ayer Cut and more1:11:06 - This Week In Movies1:29:20 - #NataliePortmanBlendNow On Video! Catch video versions of the show now available on CinemaBlend's YouTube channel. Follow The Show HereReelBlend -  @ReelBlendSean - @Sean_OConnell Jake - @JakesTakesKevin - @KevinMcCarthyTVGabe - @gabeKovacs  Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/reelblend/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Michael Madsen Shares Incredible Stories From Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs & MoreMr. Blonde himself, Michael Madsen joins us for an awesome discussion on his career, and mainly his work with Quentin Tarantino. He walks us through shooting some of their iconic scenes together, why Mr. Blonde is drinking a soda in that scene from Reservoir Dogs, working with Robert Redford, and so many more incredible stories. We also react to current tensions between theaters and Universal Pictures after the studio made it very clear that it's happy with the results of its experimental VOD releases so far. The Russo Brothers Talk Extraction, Marvel, Chris Hemsworth & More

The Russo Brothers Talk Extraction, Marvel, Chris Hemsworth & MoreReturning to the ReelBlend podcast for another amazing interview are writer/directors Joe and Anthony Russo! They're here to discuss a film they produced called Extraction (now streaming on Netflix), starring their old pal Chris Hemsworth. We also dive into their work at Marvel, their opinions on the current state of movie theaters and what comes next. It's also a big news week with the Texas Governor allowing for theaters to start opening at a limited capacity starting as soon as this week. It was also announced that Seth Rogan has a new movie headed to HBO Max next month called An American Pickle where an immigrant worker (Rogan) is accidentally brined and preserved, quite like a pickle, for 100 years, and returns in present day New York un-aged. This week's BlendGame is in honor of the thing we all miss most, going to an actual movie theater. With #TheaterExperienceBlend, the guys each give their favorite memories and experiences while in a movie theater.
