Being an "into the job" firefighter means you are a relentless student of the craft, on a mission to fulfill your calling to serve others. You reject mediocrity and the idea of being an average firefighter. The term minimum standards is not in your vocabulary and you show up every day to be better than the day before. When the motivation runs out or the critics seem to keep pulling you down, you remember one thing... Honor Over Everything.
