A Palestinian Christian who cares for the Jews but not for the state of Israel. Who accepts that Israel cannot go away but wants a two-state solution. In this instance, this Historical Jesus is made into a God of Social Justice and Marxian mechanics. He speaks of Liberation Theology. Notice the words Lewis uses in the Letter, "Social Justice" and "Marxian."
