Outdoor Industry Icon Jim Shockey

Today’s guest on Danger Close is a true outdoorsman and renaissance man. He is an award-winning outdoor writer, wildlife photographer, videographer, naturalist, wilderness guide and outfitter. He is the host of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures, The Professionals, Uncharted, and Shock Therapy on the Outdoor Channel.    He owns several outfitting territories in Canada's wildlands, including the Pacific Rim Guide Territory on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and Rogue River Outfitting in the Yukon Territory. His work documenting wildlife has been widely recognized, and his television productions have won 15 Golden Moose Awards. Hollywood Legend Danny Trejo

Ashley Horner: Athlete and Entrepreneur

David Kilcullen is one of the world’s foremost counterinsurgency experts and is the author of the books The Dragons and the Snakes: How the Rest Learned to Fight the West, The Accidental Guerrilla: Fighting Small Wars in the Midst of a Big One, Out of the Mountains: The Coming Age of the Urban Guerrilla, Blood Year: The Unraveling of Western Counterterrorism, and Counterinsurgency.   David Kilcullen served in the Australian military for more than 20 years before being recruited as the Chief Strategist in the Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism for the U.S. State Department. Chris Ryan: SAS Operator and Bestselling Author
