Ep#53 What Becomes Possible
If you're ready for big change in your life but somehow you're holding yourself back, here's how to release yourself in to what is truly possible for you.It starts with letting go of your limited view of yourself, what you have achieved so far and (by extension) what you think you reasonably might achieve in the future. No big leap forward was ever made by iteration.Reinvention is the game, and shedding your old skin is the cost of entry. Are you ready?Send us a text----------------------------------- Resources:Start 1-on-1 coaching at https:/mini.dexrandall.comLead Better with Dex AI Coach https://app.coachvox.ai/share/dexrandallConfidential. Ep#47 How to fix stubborn problems
With coaching we can solve any problem. But sometimes we're so used to the old way of reacting to things, or to people we know, that we abandon the solution in favour of what we used to do, that didn't work so well. So here's what to do in that case, to handle stubborn problems.Send us a text----------------------------------- Resources:Start 1-on-1 coaching at https:/mini.dexrandall.comLead Better with Dex AI Coach https://app.coachvox.ai/share/dexrandallConfidential. Ep#46 How to fix problems
There is a primary coaching and self-coaching tool that you can learn to fix any problem. It's called the model and here's how to use it. Learn how the brain works, what causes us to see 'problems' everywhere, and what to do about it. You can't fix the world, what happens in it, or other people, but you can feel better about it nonetheless.Self-coaching model The Life Coach School Fixed vv Growth Mindset Carol DweckIf you are in burnout, come and talk to me and let's make a plan to fix that.https://mini.dexrandall.comSend us a text----------------------------------- Resources:Start 1-on-1 coaching at https:/mini.dexrandall.comLead Better with Dex AI Coach https://app.coachvox.ai/share/dexrandallConfidential. Ep#45 Working with trauma
Most of us have experienced traumatic experiences in our lives, if we use the broader definition of trauma. I'm not talking about PTSD here ("big T" trauma, which requires a different therapeutic approach to resolve), but challenging events we've experienced in the past that pinged our amygdala and left an imprint on our memories, colouring our present-day reactions to similar situations. Often these will have occurred during childhood, before we developed adult capacities to manage our emotions. If you are in burnout and find yourself in an amygdala response, that takes over how you behave and brings unwelcome results, then it can be useful to resolve those impulses to self-protect, that no longer have real benefit.HelplinesUS lifelineLifeline AustraliaComplex trauma recovery AustraliaChampionsDr. Devika Bhushan, Acting CA Surgeon General on BipolarAre You Bogged Mate?
