The key word of the book of 1 Kings is division. Talk about seeing it everywhere! 2 Samuel 12 shows that Solomon’s birth brought so much healing and redemption for David and Bathsheba; but going into 2 Samuel 13, we see only chaos, poor decisions, and lack of ownership.
