Joshua 6:1-21 We hear God telling Joshua to knock down the strong wall of Jericho using......the sound of trumpets?! HUH? I wonder if Joshua thought this request a little odd. God asked Joshua to do something ..that may have seemed almost impossible. Maybe it wasn’t easy for him to obey b/c of this. We will hear if Joshua ends up trusting God and obeying even when it doesn’t make sense. Proverbs 8:1-31 God is a wonderful Creator! Today's story reminds us to rejoice and be grateful for the big things and little things He has made. What a loving Creator we have who made something as simple as laughing. Exodus 9 & 10  Today we are in part 8 of our Exodus series.  We will hear the last few plagues. In today's story, we connect the dots that God wants us to know HIM. He doesn't play hide and seek but instead, truly wants us to know Him.  After many of the plagues, we hear God say he used his power so that everyone would know that He is God and that no one could boast that they had saved themselves, but it was truly only God who saved them; bringing them out of Egypt.   I respect each families/ ages/ stage of life so I have adapted some of this.
