Hycroft has over 20 million ounces of gold equivalent and has a very large silver deposit. During the transition, they are not actively mining, but are still producing gold and silver off of the leach pads. When Hycroft Mining takes over a project, they do not simply continue with the same approach. Instead, they take a step back and look at things with fresh eyes and use the most up-to-date technology to re-explore the asset. The former owners never allowed their geologists to explore fully.
