Natarsha Bamblett on creating powerful Acknowledgements of Country

I am honoured to introduce you to my guest today, a woman who brings such an incredible depth of joy, connection, and gratitude to this space as we talk about creating powerful Acknowledgements of Country. Natarsha Bamblett is an Indigenous leader and facilitator, speaker, storyteller and entrepreneur. She is a mother, she was the first player signed to the Richmond Victorian Football League Women’s (VFLW), a member of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria and spends a large portion of her time performing ceremonial acknowledgements at events, running her own masterclasses and women’s circles, all by the age of 26. To say that she has achieved a lot is an understatement. In this episode, Natarsha shares from her journey of coming home to country and how she creates safe places for others to deepen and strengthen their own knowledge through First Nations wisdom and connecting to self, culture and country. Natarsha talks about having always been a challenger and how she has learned to be a challenger in a soft and gentle way by inviting others to walk the journey of learning and understanding. We talk about what Acknowledgement of Country means, why it is so important and how we can all participate in bringing unity where there has been separation and healing to the wounds of generations. Natarsha talks about honouring the land, the role we all play in being mindful of the footprint we are leaving and so much more. This is such a beautiful and impactful episode. You are going to love Natarsha’s powerful yet gentle and warm spirit. How to Work out What to Teach in your Online Program

Have you been thinking about creating an online program but you’re getting stuck when it comes to figuring out exactly what to teach? Perhaps you’re questioning if you even have enough knowledge to share, or on the other hand, maybe you have a huge amount of knowledge and condensing it down to a program seems like an impossible task. In this episode, I discuss 4 things to consider when planning the framework for your online program. I talk about taking your members from A to B, not necessarily all the way to Z. Remember, you don’t have to be an expert to guide someone else on the journey and you may be pleasantly surprised to find out that you have most of the building blocks in place already. If launching an online membership or course is on your to-do list, then don’t forget to sign up to my live webinar coming up where I’ll be sharing the three core elements of creating an online program. From Clinic to Online Pregnancy Program with Katherine Baquie

Katherine Baquie is a mum of 3 young girls, a physiotherapist for women and one year ago, Kath launched her online community, FitNest Mama. Her program helps to provide pregnant and new mothers with exercises, support and resources to help them reduce the overwhelm, physical aches and pains of pregnancy and weakness felt after birth. Through her program, Kath helps her members to increase their comfort and confidence to get their bodies and minds strong again so that they can get back to doing what they love with a bubba by their side (whether that’s running around with the kids at the park, or running the next marathon!) Kath also has a podcast, the FitNest Mama Podcast, where each week she dives into all things pregnancy care, childbirth and postnatal recovery, helping you to have a wonderful pregnancy and after birth experience. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kath through both of my programs, most recently through Scalable to support Kath in creating her online program. In this episode, we speak about the realities of running an online membership, what has surprised Kath the most about being an online program owner, what Kath has introduced to the program along the way with great success and Kath’s biggest advice to others looking to add an online program to their business. You can find Kath at www.fitnestmama.com or Instagram @fitnestmama or Podcast: The FitNest Mama Podcast If you feel the call to teach your craft to others, in a scalable way online, then join me for a fun, free and educational class on May 18th where I’ll share the 3 essentials of adding an online program to your business. Three beliefs that almost stopped me from creating an online program

I’m winding back the clock today and giving you a behind the scenes look at what was going on for me before I started the Modern Marketing Collective. It didn’t just happen overnight, in fact it nearly didn’t happen at all!   In this episode, I share the three beliefs that almost stopped me from creating my online program and talk about what helped me push through the pain barriers of my fears and limiting beliefs. I reflect on the time of transition from my old business to where I am now and how my confidence was boosted as I started putting myself out there and giving it a go.   No circumstance is ever going to be perfect or risk free. But as you start putting yourself out there, your confidence will grow and more and more possibilities will open up. How artist Cass Deller created her first online course

We have our first return guest on The Emily Osmond Show: watercolour artist, surface pattern designer and - now - online educator Cass Deller! In Episode 74: Becoming a six figure artist with Cass Deller, which is one of the most listened to episodes of the show, Cass shared the realities, challenges, decisions involved and the triumphs of creating a successful business as an artist - on her terms. As we ended the interview and I asked Cass what was next for her business, she described her desire to mentor other artists to help them build their own version of success. It wasn’t long after that, that Cass enrolled in my program called Scalable, and learnt how to create her first online program - and launch it to her community. In this episode, Cass shares the doubts, challenges, thought processes and realisations she has had along the way as she added an online program to her business. She also shares how her online program fits into her business model, her strategy for it going forward and the big impact it will have for her personally.   If you feel the call to teach your craft to others, in a scalable way online, then join me for a fun, free and educational class on May 18th where I’ll share the 3 essentials of adding an online program to your business. 10 big benefits of adding an online program to your business

When you first start a business, it can be tricky to figure out what kind of business model makes sense for you. Depending on the industry that you’re in, often the easiest thing to do is look at what everyone else in your industry is doing, and go with a model that seems to be tried and tested. That may work as you start up and get going, but at some point you may start to realise that you only have really one revenue stream. Especially if you’re a client based business, you can reach a point where you have reached capacity and unless you hire more and more staff, you find that your income is capped. Well, one of the best ways to increase your revenue without hiring more staff, contractors or working a lot more hours, is to create an online program. That’s why on the podcast today, I’m breaking down 10 big benefits of adding an online program to your business. I run two online programs - The Modern Marketing Collective and Scalable and have found that since taking the leap and launching these memberships, my business has completely changed. I have more time, doing more of the things I love to do, and making a bigger impact to a wider community. It’s truly the best thing I have done for my business, and I hope this information helps you too!   CONNECT WITH ME: Register for my FREE webinar: https://emilyosmond.com/scale Instagram Personality Quiz: https://emilyosmond.com/superpower Instagram Strategy Class: https://emilyosmond.com/free The Modern Marketing Collective: https://emilyosmond.com/join Website: https://emilyosmond.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emilyosmond/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/emilyclareosmond Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com.au/emilyosmond/_saved/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/emily-osmond-31741b40

How Alexandra Ganipeau is scaling her business with two French memberships

Building an online membership community when you have previously always operated in person is no easy task. Diving into a world where you need to learn the technology, build websites, record videos and put together course material could be seen as too overwhelming. In fact, for a lot of people it does feel like it’s too hard. They don’t have the patience to start from scratch and they’re too embarrassed to ask for help. My guest today on the podcast, Alexandra Ganipeau rose to the challenges that she faced to build the business she’s so excited to lead today. Alexandra is a fantastic french tutor with years of experience introducing students to the culture, and learning the french language. She has always enjoyed it, but being forced to work away from the home for many years was starting to take a toll on her. Then in 2019 Alexandra was diagnosed with breast cancer and was forced to completely stop, focus on her treatment and recovery. It was a very tough year for so many reasons, but when Alexandra was given the all clear, Alex realised she wanted to do business differently than she previously had. Alex discovered my course, Scalable and jumped straight in. She started building not one, but TWO memberships and has experienced fantastic growth in a whole new world. Today we’re discussing all things course creation, things she didn’t expect, the fantastic sense of community that she has built and how Alex’s life has changed.   CONNECT WITH ALEX Website @the_french_hack Facebook   CONNECT WITH ME: Join My Live Webinar - May 18th, 2021 - 10am: https://emilyosmond.com/scale Instagram Personality Quiz: https://emilyosmond.com/superpower Instagram Strategy Class: https://emilyosmond.com/free The Modern Marketing Collective: https://emilyosmond.com/join Website: https://emilyosmond.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emilyosmond/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/emilyclareosmond Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com.au/emilyosmond/_saved/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/emily-osmond-31741b40
