We dig into some of the transfer speculation that has been rife among the women’s peloton and we look ahead to the World Championships at the end of September, picking out our top contenders for the relentlessly punchy parcours. Our mini feature this month is on riders who grew up far from the traditional cycling heartlands. Kim Le Court of Mauritius, Antri Christoforou of Cyprus and Catalina Soto of Chile reveal their journeys to the professional ranks and what it is like to line up at most races as the sole representative for their nations.
