I'm sure you'd agree that there are certain skills that most successful people have in common. They're experts in their field, they like to win, they have great attitudes, and they know how to manage their time. But what keeps these people motivated, buzzed and energised? I talk about this subject quite extensively in my sales training university as I truly believe the key to experiencing phenomenal success is knowing how to stay motivated! #47 Spencer's Strategy Review - October 2019
It's time to review some of the challenges I've seen businesses facing, while consulting and training companies across the UAE in October. Here are the three big takeaways: 1) Staff Retention seems to be a real problem for many businesses. I've heard owners and managers complaining about disloyal staff, but they very rarely consider the loyalty THEY are giving their staff! I expand on this more, but I also want your thoughts 👇🏻 2) I'm seeing so many businesses that are terrible at recruiting talent for sales or business development. It's no wonder people fail when businesses don't actually look for any proof that applicants have done what's on their CV. Have you seen this happen? Have a listen to my conclusion on this and leave me a comment with yours👇🏻 3) Rapport = Revenue. So many salespeople just don't seem to get this. People buy from someone they know, like, and trust. You can't get all three without RAPPORT. Listen to my thoughts and let me know what impact rapport could have on your business 👇🏻 As always I love your feedback, so get in touch with me in the comments or even send me a message if you've got any thoughts on my Strategy Review! #Strategy #Business #Recruitment

#40: Emma Belle - Improving Mental Health in the Workplace
Mental Health problems such as anxiety, and depression are incredibly common in the modern workplace. On World Mental Health Day I wanted to release this episode from my Sales Clinic where Emma Belle and I discussed how workplaces could be better managed for those with mental health difficulties. I know that a lot of people suffer in silence, but I wanted to talk about mental health in the workplace to bring the subject to the surface, because I believe that if we speak about it, we can do something to help. I've faced some very dark days in the past, and I was able to overcome them, so this topic means a lot to me.
