Dad Tired
Jerrad Lopes
You’re tired.
Not just physically; though yeah, that too.
You’re tired in your bones. In your soul.
Trying to be a steady husband, an intentional dad, a man of God… but deep down, you feel like you’re falling short. Like you’re carrying more than you know how to hold.
Dad Tired is a podcast for men who are ready to stop pretending and start healing.
Not with self-help tips or religious platitudes, but by anchoring their lives in something (and Someone) stronger.
Hosted by Jerrad Lopes, a husband, dad of four, and fellow struggler, this show is a weekly invitation to find rest for your soul, clarity for your calling, and the courage to lead your family well.
Through honest stories, biblical truth, and deep conversations you’ll be reminded:
You’re not alone. You’re not too far gone. And the man you want to be is only found in Jesus.
This isn’t about trying harder.
It’s about coming home.

The Butterfly Effect
One word or phrase, that's all it takes to change the course of someone's life. Scripture tells us that the tongue holds the power of life and death, how are you using that power? Your words of encouragement or discouragement can spur those around you towards Christ or further away from Him and you have a responsibility to use your words to edify. Join host Jerrad Lopes as he discusses a man's need to spur his friends in their accomplishments and how that need can be used for the Kingdom of God. This week episode will challenge you to think deeply about the effect your words have on those around you and how the words of others affect you.

We're Out of Control
Work, finances, family dynamics, and life circumstances — our actions and choices contribute to the success and failures of these areas and others of life but often things happen outside of our control. As men, we strive for control and when we feel that control slipping from our fingers, it begins a fire within us that left unchecked, evolves into an inferno of anger. Join host Jerrad Lopes this week as he recounts his own experience with losing control and how he has come to understand that God allows these situations to show us where we need to grow and rely on his grace and mercy.

Becoming The Spiritual Leader of Your Home
As men, we are called to be the spiritual leaders of our homes but most of us don't feel confident in that role. At times this lack of confidence creates a paradox in our lives as we desperately want to be the best husbands we can and our wives so desperately want us to lead our families towards Jesus and our uncertainty causes inaction. This week, join host Jerrad Lopes as he discussed what it means to be a spiritual leader and how that leadership must come from deep within our hearts, not simply from behavior.

Christian Coping
Since the day that Adam and Eve walked out of the garden of Eden man has been searching for joy, satisfaction, identity, and hope in something other than God.
