Annalise Hume, a spiritual director and founder of Embodied Faith, shares her unique approach to encountering the Holy Spirit through somatic practices and dance movement therapy. She discusses the essence of spiritual direction, emphasizing the importance of silence and embodied listening. Listeners learn practical ways to discern the Spirit in their lives, moving beyond traditional prayer checklists. Annalise also offers tips for finding a spiritual director, encouraging exploration and deep connection with spiritual practices.

What do we mean when we say we "follow Jesus" in church?  How do we follow Jesus in our lives? Today we are joined by with the Rev. Joseph Yoo who helps us answer these questions!

Many of us have been hurt by the institutional church and are left wondering what is the value of being part of a church.  Can't we just worship God on our own?  To help us answer this question we are joined by the Rev. Noah Evans to talk about how God works in and through the body of Christ, the Church.

In Easter we read stories of the resurrected Christ - where Jesus walks and talks and eats with his disciples.  They struggle to  make sense of the resurrection and yet Jesus still meets them in their disbelief.  In this episode we talk about resurrection and how all of us are invited to live into it with Christ’s triumph over death.  We are joined by Father Bo Reynolds for this wonderful discussion!

With twenty years of retreat ministry, Brandon founded Copper Beech Institute, a worldwide contemplative community of 50,000 people from over 50 countries dedicated to sharing contemplative practice to heal our aching world. Brandon’s life has been deeply nourished by Christian mysticism, mindfulness, interreligious dialogue, and Zen practice. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Yale Divinity School, he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Homiletics from Aquinas Institute of Theology. Next week is the biggest week in the Christian church year: HOLY WEEK! But ... what is it? And why do we observe these special services?  Holy Week begins with Palm/Passion Sunday, and continues into what is called the "Triduum," or the three high holy moments of one long service that begins on Thursday and ends at the conclusion of the Easter Vigil. These include Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
