After they leave, the bride continues her story. Before she tells us about her own wedding, she has to share about another one.Danny is talking to his business manager, Zach. Danny’s like, “Zach, you’re coming with me to my sister’s wedding.” When he tells his buddies that Zach is tagging along, they’re like, “Shouldn’t you already be dating someone?” Danny insists, “No way—we’re just friends. We’re too different.”At the wedding, Danny and Zach dance and talk—Zach about a new guy he’s seeing, Danny about what went wrong with his ex.A month later, Danny meets Nolan, who flatters him by calling him the greatest pitcher the Phillies ever had. Turns out, Zach and Nolan end up together—but Zach doesn’t tell Danny. At Pete’s wedding, Danny tries to bring it up, but Zach shuts it down. They just dance instead. While dancing, Zach admits that he had proposed to Nolan, but Nolan turned him down, and they broke up.Later, the guys convince Danny to shoot his shot with Zach. He finally decides to—only for Zach to reveal that Nolan is actually back, and this time they’re getting married. Danny’s even asked to be best man and help plan the wedding. The wedding is set for Greece (because why not). Right before the trip, Nolan says he can’t leave yet but will arrive the day before the ceremony. So Danny goes with Zach to help with the planning. They tour Greece, throwing parties (well, planning a wedding). One day, Zach surprises Danny with a batting cage on the beach. Danny teaches him how to swing—it’s sensual, sparks fly.The next day, when Danny tries to talk about it, Zach brushes it off. The boys encourage Danny to be honest, so he finally confesses his feelings. Zach rejects him: “Hard pass, man.”On the wedding day, Danny is nowhere to be found. The guys discover him staring out at the water. Zach shows up, confesses he’s in love with Danny too, and they kiss before jumping into the water together. One year later—they’re the ones getting married! Cool Runnings

Happy Monday. It's time to get Mighty! Ryan is here to help review the 1993 classic, Rookie of the Year. ABOUT COOL RUNNINGS:When a Jamaican sprinter is disqualified from the Olympic Games, he enlists the help of a dishonored coach to start the first Jamaican Bobsled Team.AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR COOL RUNNINGS:October 1, 1993 | TheatersCAST & CREW OF COOL RUNNINGS:Leon as Derice BannockDoug E. Doug as Sanka CoffieRawle D. Lewis as Junior BevilMalik Yoba as Yul BrennerJohn Candy as Irving “Irv” BlitzerBRAN'S COOL RUNNINGS SYNOPSIS: We're in Jamaica, and it's not quite bobsled time. We meet Jamaican sprinter Derice running through town. It's November 1987, and Derice is preparing to qualify for the Olympics. He runs until he reaches the pushcart competition, where his best friend Sanka competes in the big pushcart race. Sanka crashes, but no problem—Derice keeps running. It's time for the qualifying race. Derice is the clear favorite. The top four finishers will represent Jamaica in the Olympics. Unfortunately, the runner next to him, Junior, stumbles and takes Derice down with him.Derice tries to convince the Olympic committee leader to rerun the race, but it's a no-go. On his way out, he notices a picture of his late father standing next to another man. He asks who it is, and learns that it’s Irv Blitzer, a fellow gold medalist who once competed in bobsledding. Irv lives in Jamaica now, working as a bookie and living a miserable life.It takes a while, but Derice finally wears him down, and Blitzer agrees to give him a shot. They gather a group of people together, but Blitzer scares them off by showing a reel of bobsled crashes. By the time it ends, the room is empty—except for one of the other runners who fell with Junior, a grumpy guy named Yul. The problem is, there’s no such thing as a three-man bobsled team. That’s when Junior shows up. Yul tries to fight him when he walks in, but—like it or not—that’s their squad. They get to work, and after a lot of crashing and falling, they finally manage to get into the bobsled in under six seconds. Now they need funding. After failing to land a sponsor, they try random fundraisers, but still fall short. Junior steps up and sells his fancy car to cover the rest of the costs. To Calgary they go. Blitzer registers the team and borrows a rundown bobsled from a former teammate. The Jamaicans struggle to adapt to, well, ice. Derice talks to an opponent who warns him that Blitzer is holding him back—that he hasn’t been the same since he was caught cheating.Meanwhile, the other teammates get into a bar fight at a honky-tonk. Derice gives them a pep talk about locking in and focusing. It’s time for qualifying, and Blitzer surprises them with their very own uniforms. They need to make it under 60 seconds—and THEY DO IT!They celebrate by painting their sled and naming it Cool Runnings. But soon after, they receive a letter: they’ve been disqualified. Blitzer storms into the rules committee meeting, insisting they not penalize the team for his past mistakes. After deliberation, the committee reinstates them. It’s Olympic time. Back home, everyone watches as they march in the opening ceremonies. Junior’s dad tries to pull him back home, but Junior stands up to him at last. The team’s first run on the track is a disaster, and they finish dead last. Derice tries copying the Swiss team’s methods, but Sanka pushes back—telling him they need to be themselves. On the second day, they race in their own style and finish eighth.During their final race, a loose screw causes one of the bobsled’s blades to detach, sending the sled crashing and flipping over. Determined to finish, the team lifts the sled and carries it across the finish line. The crowd erupts in applause—including Junior’s father. The epilogue explains that the team returned to Jamaica as heroes, and came back four years later to the Winter Olympics to compete as equals. Festival of Trees

It's Festive Friday and Alonso is here to help review another Christmas movie we missed from 2024, Festival of Trees. ABOUT FESTIVAL OF TREES:Jacquie's future as a designer could rest on winning the annual "Festival of Trees" competition, but coming up with the perfect design means she needs to remember what Christmas is really all about.AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR FESTIVAL OF TREES:November 24, 2024 | UpTVCAST & CREW OF FESTIVAL OF TREES:Kate Miner as Jacquie MillerGreg Perrow as Brandon HollidayJosie Davis as Alice StewartSarah Hayter as HeatherBRAN'S FESTIVAL OF TREES SYNOPSIS:The movie kicks off with a local morning show doing a story about the Festival of Trees. They bring on designer Alice Stewart, who has won the festival for the past few years. Jacquie is at home watching it, rolling her eyes.Jacquie wants to compete in the Festival of Trees this year. First, she needs a sponsor, so she goes to pitch Lowery & Lowe. He says he needs to run it by his other teammates and asks to keep her portfolio—which happens to be the only one she has.At the opening ceremony for the Festival of Trees, it becomes clear that Alice and Jacquie know each other—and they definitely don’t like each other. While she hasn’t officially been accepted into the competition, Jacquie gets to work. She bumps into Alice’s assistant, who shames her at every turn, then informs her that Lowery & Lowe is sponsoring Alice this year. That means they won’t be going with Jacquie. While processing that news, a guy comes up and asks her for advice. She’s not in the mood and just hands him her entire basket. She’s feeling really down, and it only gets worse—she gets a call from the committee with bad news. They cannot accept her design due to plagiarism. Jacquie is shocked—she worked so hard on it. Apparently, someone else submitted the exact same design before she did. She has until noon tomorrow to submit a new design. So Jacquie and her assistant Heather go searching for inspiration and end up at a Christmas tree farm, where they bump into the guy from the shop. His name is Brandon, and he owns the place. He encourages her to make a tree that speaks to the everyman, not just the uppity elite. To spark ideas, Jacquie visits the children’s hospital that the Festival of Trees benefits. There, she meets a little girl named Rachel. Rachel shares what she loves about Christmas, which inspires Jacquie to create a tree completely inspired by the children. Each kid will get their own ornament based on their likes and interests. Jacquie and Heather head down to the hospital to interview the kids.Later, Jacquie goes to pick out her own tree to get into the Christmas spirit. Brandon delivers it, and they spend some time together—the sparks are flying—until he takes a call and says, “I’ll be there in 15 minutes, honey.” Assuming he’s already in a relationship, she decides to call it a night. The next day, when Jacquie goes to show Rachel her ornament, she’s surprised when Brandon walks in. Turns out, Brandon is Rachel’s dad—and “honey” was who he was talking to the night before!Festival time arrives, and Jacquie’s tree is a masterpiece. She notices Alice has stolen her old design, but she doesn’t care—she likes hers more.Brandon and Jacquie admire the tree together when she realizes it will be auctioned off, meaning the kids won’t get their ornaments. Heather tells her to let it go—they’ve already done something amazing. To her surprise, Jacquie ends up winning! She and Brandon celebrate with a kiss. Her business takes off. They head to the hospital to give the kids the drawings of their ornaments, only to be shocked when they see the actual tree there. And the good news keeps coming—Rachel has been given the all-clear!The movie ends with snow falling and another kiss. The Groomsmen: First Look (Re-Release)

Did you miss our review of Groomsmen First Look last October? Have no fear! We're releasing it again for you to enjoy! Alonso is with us today to help us break down all that happen in the 1st Groomsmen movie. ABOUT THE GROOMSMEN FIRST LOOK:A pediatrician and an overseas doctor, meet at a wedding in Philadelphia, but the long distance, family, and their friends may hinder their budding romance.AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR THE GROOMSMEN FIRST LOOK:October 17, 2024 | Hallmark+ / September 6, 2025 | Hallmark ChannelCAST & CREW OF THE GROOMSMEN FIRST LOOK:B.J. Britt as PeteHeather Hemmens as ChelseaJonathan Bennett as DannyTyler Hynes as JacksonBRAN'S THE GROOMSMEN FIRST LOOK SYNOPSIS: This woman walks into a store, clearly hiding from someone. The shop owner asks, “Who are you hiding from?” She peeks out and whispers, “Them! The groomsmen.” The store owner leans in: “What’s the story?” She sighs. “It all started with a wedding…”Cut to a wedding. We see a guy in a suit on the phone. His name is Dr. Byer, and he bumps into a girl—not the girl from the beginning, but Hannah’s maid of honor. They bond over their shared belief that clip-on ties are cheating. She’s nervous about giving a speech. Turns out Dr. Byer is good friends with Danny, the best man. And surprise—she’s a doctor too. Dr. Chelsea. There’s one other groomsman: Jackson. Jackson, Danny, and Pete have been best friends since summer camp. They love hanging out and, of course, choreographed dances.Pete meets Chelsea, and they end up dancing and talking all night. But there’s a catch—she lives halfway around the world. At the end of the night, she drops the bomb: she’s leaving in the morning. She says, “We should stay in touch.” Pete replies, “We aren’t really going to stay in touch, are we?” He kisses her hand, and they part ways. The next day, Pete’s hanging out with the guys. Danny says, “What about a long-distance relationship?” Jackson adds, “Actually, you might be perfect for it. You’re so organized and stuck in your ways.” Pete is torn, but they convince him: “You’ve got to stop her before she goes to the airport and tell her she’s all you’ve ever wanted.”They rush to the hotel, but—womp womp—she’s already gone. Pete chases after her, only to realize she was never in the cab. She’s still at the hotel. He comes back, gulps some water, and shoots his shot… badly. But Chelsea admits she feels the same way, though she doesn’t know how the distance will work. Pete says, “I don’t know either, but I don’t want to not try.” She grabs his phone, takes a selfie with him, and gives him her number. They start texting nonstop—cute doctor stuff, constant phone calls. Then one day, everything changes: video calls! Jackson takes this seriously, even sending his client Celeste to do Pete’s makeup before a call.Pete dials in… no answer. Then a text: “Sorry, this isn’t working.” Blocked. WTF?! Jackson and Danny try to reassure him, but Pete feels crushed.Later that night, Pete gets woken up by a call. It’s Chelsea. The storm knocked out her internet. That’s all she meant—he was never really blocked. Relief.Things go back to normal. They just want to see each other in person. Easier said than done. Both are so busy. One day, Pete’s at Danny’s nephew’s birthday party when Chelsea shows up. “I’m here for one night. Let’s go on a proper date.” Danny yells, “WE’RE GOING SHOPPING!”On their date, things feel harder than expected. It’s awkward—not just because a guitar player won’t stop playing in their faces, but because online chemistry doesn’t always translate perfectly in person. So they bail and grab Philly cheesesteaks instead. On their walk, Chelsea admits, “I actually came here to break up with you. But after tonight…I want to keep trying.” Pete smiles: “I know how we can try next…” They kiss. His boys warn him: “Whatever you do, don’t say ‘I love you’ first.” Naturally, Chelsea hops in a cab, Pete chases it down, and he blurts it out. She says it back. The crowd cheers.Pete decides to propose. The boys warn him: “Don’t you think you should spend more time together in person first?” But Pete is set. He flies out to surprise her—only to drop the ring box on the luggage carousel. When it comes back around, it’s gone. He scrambles after it, gets detained by TSA, but luckily Chelsea knows the officers. They let him go with a warning. As Pete and Chelsea leave, TSA hands him the ring back. He proposes right then and there. Chelsea laughs: “This is so crazy! Yes!”They go to meet her parents. It’s tense—her parents are intense, her mom furious they want to get married on the beach. Eventually, they compromise: a five-star resort by the beach. Pete’s mom shows up and disapproves of everything, but then declares she’s going to officiate the wedding. The groomsmen arrive, everyone has dinner, and Pete admits he’s considering moving overseas with Chelsea. It’s too much. Chelsea storms off. “Go camping with your boys. We need a break.” Disaster strikes—a massive storm hits while the guys are lost in the woods, grounding flights and keeping wedding guests away.Pete fights with the groomsmen, storms off, then they reconcile. The next day, things are better. He and Chelsea reconnect on the beach. She tells him she can’t wait to spend the rest of her life with him. They kiss and, right then and there, get married exactly the way they wanted—simple, real, and by the ocean. So what does this have to do with the woman from the beginning? She leans in and says: “Pete and Chelsea’s story was just the beginning. Because after them… there was another wedding.” Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? The X’s. The O’s. The Little Giants. It’s 1964, and the O’Shea brothers are walking down the street. Big brother Kevin is annoyed that little brother Danny is tagging along to play football with his friends. So annoyed, in fact, that Kevin won’t even pick him to be on his team. To cheer him up, he tells Danny that one day their names will both be on the town water tower—The O’Shea Brothers.Cut to the present, and the only name on that water tower is Kevin’s. Kevin owns a car dealership and, most importantly, coaches pee-wee football. Today is tryouts. One of those hopefuls is Icebox—or should I say, Becky… Danny’s daughter. That’s right, a girl!We quickly learn just how much Kevin has accomplished: championships in high school and college, the Heisman Trophy—he’s done it all.Time to find out who made the team. All the “dorks” you’d expect get cut… along with Icebox. Danny tells his brother he’s wrong about those kids, and he’s going to prove it.Icebox rallies the others, announcing that they’ll start their own team—coached by her dad. Danny’s not so sure, until Kevin lays down the rule: one town, one team. He challenges Danny to a playoff in two weeks. Winner gets to be the town’s team. The squad needs more players, so Icebox and the crew recruit outcasts around town. At the grocery store, they spot a kid showing off an impressive arm by tossing toilet paper rolls. Icebox is thrown off because—wait for it—she also thinks he’s cute. Turns out he’s a great quarterback.Word gets to Kevin, who goes to check it out… and winds up arrested for being a peeping tom. Then a new kid moves to town—Spike. He’s massive. His dad calls Danny, thinking he’s Kevin, to say Spike wants to play. But Spike doesn’t fit in, Spike doesn’t like them, and Spike is basically the bad guy. Eventually, Spike’s dad pulls him from the team once he realizes they’re with Danny, which sparks a huge fight among the players. All seems lost… until John Madden shows up—with four NFL players! Just the boost they need. It’s game day. Right before kickoff, Kevin goads Danny into a bet: if Danny wins, he gets Kevin’s Chevrolet dealership; if Kevin wins, he gets Danny’s gas station. The Giants fall behind 21 points by halftime. Spirits are low—until Danny gives a heartfelt speech. The team rallies, and with a last-second fumblerooski, they win the game!Danny suggests that instead of the Giants replacing the Cowboys, they merge into one team so both brothers can coach. He also rekindles his childhood romance with Patty. And instead of holding Kevin to the dealership bet, Danny asks for just one thing: change the water tower. From “Home of Kevin O’Shea” to “Home of the O’Shea Brothers.” Promise fulfilled. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show?
