Subscription is the business model of the future, it’s something more and more businesses are doing and is being leveraged in new and innovative ways. It’s not easy but it is simple, you do not need any money or followers to start this, just choose something you love to talk about then follow these simple steps. There are a few platforms/membership sites for this: Patreon, Onlyfans, Kajabi and Facebook supporters are what Rob would recommend. Exclusive and great information are two key things you can focus on when creating content for subscribers. The way you package your information counts, everyone is valuable, you just need to ‘honour’ your niche and then put it out to the world. You need to create 1-2 unique pieces of content a week for your subscribers. E.G one exclusive live, one exclusive mastermind and two other pieces of content. Deciding how much to charge subscribers depends on where you are in your journey, whether you want to create money or focus on scale. Rob would recommend starting at around $10 per month and then creating ‘tiers’ to charge higher for more perks/closer access to you. 90% of people won’t give you any money at all, there are a million reasons why. But, as soon as someone has bought with you they become highly engaged and help form and create an incredible community with you at the centre. Make it easy to join your programme. Remove as many friction point as you can, this is one of the most important things to focus on when building a subscription service.
