Restore or Reorganize [Podcast]

Today's episode is a Mile High philosophy episode. Just this past weekend myself and my wife Richelle Knowles had the opportunity to speak at Sherman chiropractic College Lyceum. In part of the presentation I shared about the concept of reorganization relative to the spine and nervous system. In this brief 15 minute episode we pose the question of whether you really want to have as your objective to restore the spine. Is that concept consistent with our philosophy or is it allopathic. Are we about fixing spines? Or are we about freeing lives?   My hope is this gets your wheels spinning and considering these concepts as your hands are on people this week as well as as you look at the state of their nerve system and spinal structures. As you're applying a force are you working against the body or with it? Are you applying a force for Innate to use to set the vertebra to where it needs to be or are you thrusting to where you feel the vertebra needs to go.   Continue to grow your philosophy and art and learn more science. If you enjoy this episode please share it and leave feedback on iTunes.

Zail Khalsa: Conscious chiropractic

As a kid one of my favorite rides at Disney was "Mr. toad's wild ride". I loved how it twisted and turned at a high speed. I would like you to fasten your seat belts for a wild ride with one of our colleagues who I sincerely appreciate deeply for what he brings to the chiropractic consciousness. In this interview with Dr. Zail Khalsa we go on a journey discussing the full range of chiropractic philosophy. From DD Palmer through BJ, William Harper, Bill Bahan, Donald Epstein as well as the connection between structural and tonal spinal analysis models.   Investigating the description of consciousness plays in relation to chiropractic, the duality of existence and the essence of chiropractic philosophy. This is a deep thought edition from a fan of the mile high movement weekend. I am certain it will get your philosophical wheels spinning and inspire you to think more deeply and read more about a variety of philosophical constructs.   Dr. Khalsa is very well read individual in terms of chiropractic philosophy as well as philosophy as a whole and this episode will give you a glimpse of an expanded vision and thought process relative to chiropractic.   I recommend you make a little bit of approved coffee or tea to get your brain centered and firing and enjoy!

Arno Burnier – The joy of living a life aligned with purpose

There are a handful of people within our profession that are known by nearly everyone simply by their first name. Arno is one of them. I first met Arno in a very unique way which was as the officiant of my parents wedding. This makes him nearly family to me.   Arno has been an incredible messenger within chiropractic of a expanded consciousness view of the impact of our philosophy. The journey he shares in this interview conducted by Joel Kinch discusses the potential for chiropractic to create a new paradigm for humanity.   Our existing paradigm is not sustainable. And more more people are becoming aware that suppressing life with drugs and suppressing symptoms has not been producing successful results for people's lives.   It's time to help the world move from a reactive, attack, suppression model of healthcare to changing consciousness, changing beliefs systems and life enhancement paradigm. Connecting with Arno always helps to connect to the heart and soul of the chiropractic consciousness.

Phil McMaster: It’s as simple as that

Thrilled to share this podcast episode! I know you were going to enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording. Phil McMaster is the current president of New Zealand chiropractic college, has taught philosophy at that school since its inception, served as the chair of its Board of Trustees and is also a Sherman College graduate. Read his full bio here   We discussed a full range of chiropractic material from what it takes to start a school to daily rituals for practice success. Dr. McMaster is an incredible resource of information running a successful family subluxation centered practice for 30 years. Currently the New Zealand chiropractic college is thriving so much that they actually have to close off enrollment due to so many applicants! I call this a quality problem. In fact they are doing so well that their model is being duplicated with the opening of her school and Australia based on their own institution.   This episode really solidified for me how much of a shining light the New Zealand chiropractic college is in the chiropractic profession

Heidi Farrell: Creating Outstanding Team Members

Super team trainer Heidi Farrell has been working with chiropractic teams for 20 years and is returning to mile high in 2016! I truly enjoyed the opportunity to interview her on this episode and I know you will too. Teams are so vital to the success of chiropractic offices, as well as of course any business, and they are often the weakest area. Not because of the team members but because of the doctors inability to develop a team. Just because your a great chiropractor and can communicate chiropractic doesn't mean that you can inspire a team or develop talent. Enjoy and learn in this episode with Heidi who has who is the head coach at Chiro advanced services.
