The reality is that every young girl with curvy features will most likely experience being ridiculed or spoken down to for clothes fitting her in a way that isn't overwhelmingly baggy and a "distraction to boys". Happy Pride month, its that time of year again where corporations slap rainbows all over the logos and businesses. This goes by many different names, rainbow capitalism, rainbow baiting, or maybe pink washing. But how do we know if a company is really supporting the queer community? or is it all just one bit marketing ploy. This week on the Pod Karbon & Emily give you their take, the history behind rainbow baiting and also dive into the idea of needing to compensate the artist.
