Episode 70 - Time Management for Busy Preachers

One of the more frequent questions that we receive has to do with time management. How can a preacher or Bible teacher manage his or her time in order to maximize their effectiveness as they deliver God’s Word? There are only 168 hours per week and 24 hours per day; and many important commitments already claim many of those hours. How can a busy Christian carve out time to study in the midst of an already busy week? This question and more are answered in today’s episode, a live Q+A panel recorded in San Diego featuring Pastor Rob Salvato, Miles Debenedictus, Shawn Stone, Nick Cady, Riley Taylor, Rob Salvato and Pete Nelson. The Expositors Collective is a growing network of pastors, leaders, and laypeople which exists to equip, encourage, and mentor the next generation of Christ-centered preachers. Episode 68 - Just The Right Fit

Pastor Rob Dingman (Twickenham, UK) speaks with Mike about the dangers of convoluting simple passages with unnecessary complications and obscure details. Time is precious, so may we use it wisely!Rob Dingman was born and raised in Seattle, USA. He has been serving Jesus Christ since 1974. He planted Calvary Chapel Twickenham in 2001.Although exposed to Christianity from an early age, he found it frustrating. It seemed futile to go to church but not actually know God.His connection with Jesus Christ became concrete when he heard the Bible taught chapter-by- chapter, verse-by-verse. Knowing God through what the Bible says became the focus of his life. Inspired by the example of his pastor, Wayne Taylor, Rob began reading, studying, and meditating in his Bible. He travelled as a guitarist with the Robert Case Band across the US, the Far East, and Western Europe. He and his wife moved to Germany to help plant Calvary Chapel Siegen in 1990. They moved to England in 1997 to help plant Calvary Chapel Westminster with Brian Brodersen. Along with planting Calvary Chapel Twickenham Rob has helped plant churches in Russia, Germany, and UK.He is married to Joanie, their daughters are Holly and Katie. An important Bible verse for him is Romans 12:2“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”Expositors Collective is part of the GoodLion podcast network
