Discipleship is the process of becoming more like Jesus through partnership with the Holy Spirit in and through our lives. Pastor Banning Liebscher casts vision for 2025, and calls our church family to a year of focused and intentional discipleship.

Church was God’s idea and God’s design, and there is an objective that He created. Pastor Becky Johnson talks to our church family about the call of God given to the Church- to walk in a worthy manner, keep the unity among believers, and get equipped.

Pastor Banning Liebscher is joined by Pastor Michael Brodeur to continue exploring what the Bible teaches about healing and how we are called to live in the tension between Heaven and earth. Ultimately, we have to remember that the Word of God does not submit to our experiences, but rather, our experiences must be submitted to the Word of God.

This week, Kris Vallotton, Senior Associate Leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California and co-founder of Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and Moral Revolution, joined our Jesus Culture Sacramento family and shared a powerful message on the importance of learning from the past, but not living in it. We are entering a new era, where we must look at what has happened and has been done, in order to make adjustments and step into the future that God has for us individually, and as the Body of Christ.

The Kingdom of God is anywhere that Jesus has dominion, and it is always demonstrated through radical love and power. Pastor Banning unpacks our role as believers who are in Christ, the resources we have access to as citizens of Heaven, and the call to be ambassadors of Jesus’ Kingdom on earth.

If you want to break the power of offense in your life, you have to go low, and stay low. Pastor Banning teaches us that humility is key to living a life of forgiveness and freedom from offense. Grace flows in our life where we have chosen humility, and allowed God to lead.

God doesn’t call us to an easy life, but a life of radical love. Pastor Becky Johnson teaches us out of the book of Jonah about the call to love our enemies by praying for them, and standing for righteousness. God is more gracious than we realize, and He desires that all would know Him!

We must guard our hearts from offense because that is where the enemy gets a foothold in our lives. Pastor Banning teaches us the key to living a life that is free of offense— forgiveness. When we are unwilling to forgive, offense grows and takes root in our lives.

Part of being human is suffering, setbacks, pain, and hard circumstances. In the midst of this, we all have a response that either matches the culture on earth or the Kingdom of God. Pastor Benny Perez, Co-Lead Pastor of Church LV in Las Vegas, Nevada, challenges us to be men and women that yield to God and His Kingdom culture in all things. God is looking for us to respond to our circumstances in worship to Him.

God made us to be in community because we mature with, and around, other believers. Pastor Mark Kresge, Jesus Culture Sacramento’s Connections Pastor, teaches us that if we want spiritual maturity in our lives, we need Godly community that keeps us safe and holds us accountable.
