She decided to get on Tinder and she matched with a handsome 28 year old local named Gable Tostee. Their date started off pretty typical but sadly hours later it would end in tragedy. The case seemed open and shut at first but as it unfolded it sparked a lot of controversy among the public leaving many to question, was this just a terrible accident or was this murder? Marianne was a single mom from Lubeck Germany just doing the best she could to raise her daughter Anna on her own. Her life took a horrific turn when her daughter was abducted and murdered by a monster named Klaus Grabowski. At his trial Marianne sat for 2 days listening to this man's defense team.
