THINNING OF THE VEIL

Parents who experience the pain of losing a child at whatever age and stage, find their testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in the forefront of their minds. The doctrine of the salvation of little children is one of the most divine, merciful, and hopeful doctrines that have been restored to the earth in these latter days. Joseph and Emma Smith experienced the loss of 6 of their own children, which caused extreme pondering upon the subject of where and how their little ones were doing on the other side of the veil. Thankfully this glorious, restored doctrine, when studied, can help to heal the empty arms and broken hearts of the families left behind after these horrible losses. A horrible accident claimed the life of the son of Brother and Sister Wells. Heavenly Father allowed this boy to come through a thinning of the veil experience to his mother. When you are seeking to gather Israel, miracles can be found in many different places, including a local antique store. Several members of one family were found in an 1817 Bible, in an antique store on Main Street, Logan, Utah. In General Conference of October 2014, Elder Allan Packer, spoke about the needed requirements for eternal life, a spiritual passport of sorts. He teaches that Temple and Family History work gives those needed stamps in our passports not only to ourselves but to our ancestors. The Book of Life, The Book of Remembrance and The Book of the Generations, all are titles of the Book that the Savior and our Heavenly Father use to judge whether we are worthy of Eternal Life. As the world gets more and more wicked and Satan's power spreads across the globe, there is a compensatory power that the Lord offers to all His covenant keeping children.
