In his talk titled "Come to Zion", Elder Christofferson teaches plainly what it takes to become a saint worthy of entering that Holy City. He testified that Zion is ahead for those who are willing to make the building up of the Kingdom their highest priority. For thousands of years the reality of transfiguration and translation have been testified of. These spiritual powers and gifts are bestowed upon those who desire to help prune the Lord's Vineyard one last time. When we study the lives of Enoch, Moses, Elijah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we realize that the Lord has given great compensatory blessings for the Gatherers. One of the most transcendent blessings, is the ability, through Transfiguration or Translation, to withstand the burning that will come before the Second Coming. Those who attain to the glory that the law necessitates,  will be able to stand in the presence of Jesus Christ, to dwell in the holy city of Zion, and will become a son or daughter of God in the truest sense of those sacred words. Orson Pratt gave a sermon on Salt Lake City, Utah in July of 1874 at the Old Tabernacle. Among other doctrines discussed, was the topic of Enoch. In this sermon he taught about many aspects of Zion, including Enoch and his people, along with their characters and attributes. It has been over 150 years since this talk was given, but the principles and doctrines that Orson Pratt taught, specifically about those of translation, are even more relevant than they ever have been. We are fast approaching that day when translation will be restored that the work of the Savior will move forward at an unprecedented pace. We are living in a day when ALL things will be restored. All former priesthood ordinances, keys, and powers will once again be returned to the Earth. Enoch and his city are to come and dwell with Zion in this last dispensation.  Enoch, as a dispensational head,  taught his people the doctrine of translation and there were "many" who attained to this level of glory. Even after Enoch was taken off the earth, many attained to the same powers by living the ordinances, covenants, and laws required to be a translated being. This episode looks at the patterns of translated beings and the reasons why this glorious gift is even needed among those who are Gatherers. The Savior surely grants this righteous desires to those who want to be saviors upon Mount Zion. In April of 2016, President Nelson encouraged the priesthood bearing men in the church to seek to understand how to gain more priesthood power. He warned that our families would not be safe now and into eternity if the doctrines of the priesthood were an afterthought in our lives. He encouraged all to seek to be "taught be the Lord Himself." While these things may seem impossible, President Nelson lays out the blueprint on how one can seek and truly find. He testifies that our seeking for more understanding is not merely wishful thinking, but an actual reality and invitation that can be attained to. While every thinning of the veil experience is unique, oftentimes heavenly sounds from above are involved. Daris had many thinning of the veil experiences that involved music. Truly the heavens are echoing with heavenly choirs praising God our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Thankfully from time to time, our ears are opened, and we are blessed to experience the other side of the veil with heavenly voices and eternal music echoing in our ears. In April of 1977, in Lima Peru, Elder Bruce R. McConkie gave a talk that linked the Gathering to the building up of Zion. It was so important that President Spencer W. Kimball had it printed so that all members of the church could study it. Almost 50 years later, we can see the fulfillment of some of the prophecies given at the time by Elder McConkie. This talk is  instructive to us as Gatherers in the last days as we have our eyes are fixed on that day when Enoch's Zion will be reunited to our Zion in the not to distant future. Enoch lived thousands of years ago and yet is still relevant to our day. In this the last dispensation, the pattern is repeating itself. Like Enoch and his people, we are on our own journey to the Millennial Zion. Enoch achieved the sacred status of a Zion resident by being a Patriarch to his posterity and a Gatherer of his forebearers. We can most assuredly get through the upcoming trials and destruction by patterning our lives after Enoch. If we will study how this prophet and seer lived, preached, and covenanted with God, we will find ourselves nearing the finish line to the Second Coming, prepared and ready to welcome the Savior.
