Minter Dial is a Professional Speaker, Storyteller, Author, and Consultant specialising in leadership, branding and transformation. He is the author of four award-winning books, The Last Ring Home, A POW’s Lasting Legacy of Courage, Love, and Honor in World War II (2016), which was made into an award-winning documentary film for PBS and History Channel; Futureproof, How to get your Business Ready for the Next Disruption (co-written with Caleb Storkey and published by Pearson, 2017), winner of the Business Book Award 2018 in the category of Technology; Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence, which won the Book Excellence Award 2019 in the category of Technology and was a finalist for the Business Book Awards 2019. His last book, You Lead, How Being Yourself Makes You A Better Leader (Kogan Page, 2021), won the Business Book Awards 2022 in the category of Leadership.
Minter is working on a new book, DIALOGOS, a featured publication on Substack, about fostering more meaningful conversation. Previously, he enjoyed a 16-year international career at L’Oreal, including Managing Director Worldwide of Redken, the Canadian subsidiary of the Professional Products Division (PPD) and on the Executive Committee worldwide of the PPD. Minter also worked at the DLJ investment bank, the Philadelphia Zoo, and the NJ State Aquarium. He has founded three startups, including a travel agency for entertainers and a high-end handmade leather Gladstone bag maker.
He’s on the board of ECV School and was previously NED of LastminuteGroup and SBT-Humans Matter. He’s a renowned blogger and podcaster (in English and French) and passionate about the Grateful Dead, Padel Tennis and languages.

Liza Donnelly is a writer and award-winning cartoonist with The New Yorker Magazine, where she has been drawing cartoons and writing about culture and politics for forty years. She has contributed to CBS News and CNN, creating political cartoons as well as live drawing special cultural and political events. Donnelly writes and draws for The New York Times, CNN Opinion pages, and the Washington Post. Liza is also a screenwriter, working on her third feature and currently pitching a documentary.
Donnelly delivered a very popular TED talk, which was translated into 40 languages and viewed over 1.4 million times. Donnelly has been a Cultural Envoy for the US State Department, traveling worldwide to speak about freedom of speech, cartoons, and women’s rights. Donnelly is the creator of a new digital visual journalism called live drawing. For CBS News, CNN, and The New Yorker, she covered the DNC in 2016 and the 2017 Inauguration, the White House Press conference, and political protest marches.
In 2016, Donnelly was the first cartoonist to be granted access on location to live draw the Academy Awards and red carpet; she returns every year as the Oscar cartoonist. Both on location and remotely, she covered presidential debates, the State of The Union, The Impeachment Trial, election returns, the Emmys, the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the BET Awards, the Tonys, the Olympics, the World Cup, the Superbowl, literary events, and more.
Donnelly is the author/editor of seventeen books and is a member of the international project Cartooning for Peace, helping to promote understanding through humor. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions globally. Liza taught at Vassar College and the School of Visual Arts.
A Distinguished Athena Fellow at Barnard College, Donnelly is a recipient of an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and delivered the Graduate School Commencement address, was a Thurber Prize finalist (the award for written humor in the United States), and is a recipient of a Reuben Award, the Salon St. Just International Prize, France, the AAUW Women of Distinction Award, and the Forte Dei Marmi, Italy, Satire Award.
She was honored with a solo exhibition in 2020 at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Her cartoons are in the Library of Congress Prints Collection, The Museum of Illustration, and in private collections, and her cartoons are collected in numerous books around the world.
A member of PEN America, the AAEC, and the Author’s Guild.
Liza lives in New York with her husband, New Yorker cartoonist Michael Maslin.
