96. Jackie Thomson: Founder at Of Counsel PR

Today’s guest, Jackie Thomson is the founder of the prestigious public relations agency, Of Council PR. After graduating from the College of Charleston, Jackie moved to New York City to pursue her dreams of working in the fashion industry. Jackie was a buyer for Gucci and then worked for bridal and eveningwear designer, Reem Acra, with that role, Jackie quickly learned the power of PR and the role of influencers. After sensing her time in NYC was coming to a close Jackie moved back to Charleston and began working and ultimately building Leapfrog PR for 13 incredible years with her dear friend Libba Osborne. The ladies announced in 2021 that they were excited to pursue new ventures, and thus began Jackie's Of Council PR, where she works closely with wildly talented clients and collaborators.  When Jackie isn't overseeing upcoming collaborations, assisting on set for photoshoots with her clients, or sharing her wisdom with women like myself, she is likely enjoying time with her friends and family in Charleston, South Carolina.
