Episode #013: The Cake is a Pi

==----------WARNING---------== There are aspects of this episode that do not correlate to anything "tangible"  or "real", and instead seem to take 90 degree turns in directions that do not actually exist, then head off into impossible infinities only to discover god and/or aliens sitting out there calculating the digits of cake(the cake is a pi). This material requires a minimum of a Level 2.0 non-Tangetard brain and is NSFS(Not Safe For Skerptards). There's not much more that can be said about the discussion in this episode; mostly because we don't really understand what we were talking about. Waves and pyramids. Cake and Pi. Snakes and bros. It all fits. We think. But seriously, just keep in mind that there are pics down below that may help you in continuing to not understand wtf we're talking about. Just remember that all we're really saying is   3.141592653589793238462643383279502884 1971693993751058209749445923078164062 8620899862803482534211706798214808651 3282306647093844609550582231725359408 1284811174502841027019385211055596446 2294895493038196442881097566593344612 8475648233786783165271201909145648566 9234603486104543266482133936072602491 4127372458700660631558817488152092096 2829254091715364367892590360011330530 5488204665213841469519415116094330572 7036575959195309218611738193261179310 5118548074462379962749567351885752724 8912279381830119491298336733624406566 4308602139494639522473719070217986094 3702770539217176293176752384674818467 6694051320005681271452635608277857713 4275778960917363717872146844090122495 3430146549585371050792279689258923542 0199561121290219608640344181598136297 7477130996051870721134999999837297804 9951059731732816096318595024459455346 9083026425223082533446850352619311881 7101000313783875288658753320838142061 7177669147303598253490428755468731159 5628638823537875937519577818577805321 7122680661300192787661119590921642019 8 therefore pyramids.  Whole universe dispersion structure of matter. Episode #012: Roadtrip to Volcano, Hearing Light and Seeing Sound

We start this episode with a recount of a daytrip we took to a nearby extinct volcano that we totally did not know was there even though we've lived here for decades. Usually volcanoes are pretty noticable because mountain, but this volcano is eroded flat, nothing but a small knob of igneous material remains where the volcano once stood. Still, we were excited to see it and do some geololololology. Turns out it is entirely on private property. So we still haven't seen it. Instead, we went to McKinney Falls nearby, where we discovered an ancient dry-laid stone wall that bisected the park going directly east-west, atop a massive tounge of catastrophically deposited limestone(that in turn rested atop igneous materials, probably deposited by eruptions of the elusive mountainless volcano). Plus, evidence of massive flooding, giant oyster fossils, and creature shadows trapped in clay. Then we got eaten by fish and started a microcult. For the rest of the show, we discuss how to hear light and see sound, the almost total rejection of Russ' Yellowstone SuperColliding SuperVolcano Hypothesis by mainstream science, the complete rejection of Russ' Lithophonic Longhouses Low-hanging-fruit hypothesis by mainstream science, and how a steel drum is like an obelisk, but with dents. Geological Cross Section of Pilot Knob, the extinct volcano we couldn't find Strange stuff in the igneous boulders we found, these look like.... veins??  Yep. Those look like veins. Note relative-size quarter for scale.  Looks like... a tiny footprint.... with teeth stuck in it?? Right after taking this pic, we found an abandoned shoe, so we noped outta there The limestone shows signs of enduring severe erosional flooding at several bottleneck areas at McKinney Falls Erosion damage is clear from overhead images; note the widespread occurrence of "potholes", holes drilled into the stone by whirlpools in torrential floods Screenshot from a video taken in Williams Creek at the back of McKinney Falls park.  Williams Creek: The odd layer of gray-blue clay can be clearly seen on the left   STEP BACK FROM THE EDGE, TREE!! YOU HAVE TOO MUCH TO LIVE FOR Everything above the gray layer is river sediment deposit: a mix of limestone, caliche, flint, and lots of small rounded stones....river gravel There is naught left of them but Shadows.....SHADOWS IN THE CLAY Weird semi-spiraling bivalve / cephalopods ?? Beneath the limestone characteristic of McKinney Falls, we discovered evidence of volcanism....pyroclastic deposit layers Closeup of pyroclastic layers hidden beneath the limestone, note the crystalline structures Some of the layers have a strange latticework structure Graph of human hearing frequency range. Below the wavy line, the sounds are too quiet for us to hear them, above the line are audible sounds.  The human visual spectrum and where it lies on the full range of the electromagnetic spectrum.  Harmonics. Just picture these as guitar strings. The first one at the top shows the guitar string vibrating all across its length, making the Fundamental note. The next one has been touched lightly in the middle, splitting the vibration in half and silencing the fundamental, bringing out the harmonic. The next has been touched at the 1/3 spot, and so on.  This is an absolutely awful image depicting how redshift/blueshift works.  Sky view of Malta temples, which are very organic looking, everything is round, no sharp corners anywhere.    Malta temple megaliths. Uncut, unworked, unfinished, yet stacked and arranged so skillfully that they still stand, 7,000 years later Interior of one of the Maltese temples. Note the doorway on the right... all temple doors in Malta are made this way, as a hole cut through a large stone, rather than a more conventional approach with just two supports holding up a lintel stone. Haven't the faintest idea why.  Interior shots of the Hypogeum on Malta Hauntingly beautiful. Why did they build it? Who built it?  Looking through another round dooway piercing a stone slab in the Hypogeum. Remember that every room in this place was found 2/3rds filled with rubble and soil that had no stratigraphy(was not layered, implying it all was deposited at once), and scattered throughout the soil were the bones of upwards of 7,000 people, all of whom had anomalous elongated skulls. Interior diagram of the Pyramid of Khufu/Cheops(The Great Pyramid), to show how far away the subterranean chamber is from the King's Chamber   3D diagram of the Great Pyramid. Because why not.  The Ringing Rocks of Ringing Rocks Park. Note how tightly clustered they are.... trees don't even grow between them   The infamous, slightly foreboding Black Mountain   Slopes of Black Mountain, which is obviously not a mountain but an enormous pile of granite boulders that are so similar in size they look like gravel.  This is just incredibly strange, very difficult to explain how so many similar sized boulders came to be piled up so high in this one spot And of course....... snakes

Episode #011: Annunaki, Breaking World Records, and Impossiblocks

In this episode we start off already completely distracted by Default Android Voice 001, which leads to Sitchin and aliens and Annunaki  (of course), but eventually that leads to Ba'albek which completely distracts us a second time because it has Impossiblocks. Naturally that leads to the subject of Shamanism and Tibetan monks and fakin' it till you make it and a guy in Brazil named Jon OfGod and thousands of Inca getting killed trying to move an Impossiblock 10 feet. We discuss the Third Man Effect, the rate of world records being broken and the advent of extreme sports which (obviously) ties right back into Impossiblocks and basically solves that whole mystery. Elementary, really. (Tangetards please note: there are only two (2) tangents in this entire episode)  Ba'albek platform from space Note temple of Jupiter wing on the left, you can see the shadows of the 6 remaining columns from the south wall, which the Romans were unable to put all the way out on the southernmost edge of the platform Six columns are all that still stands of the Roman temple of Jupiter The still mostly-intact temple of Bacchus / Dionysius: note the tiny people at the bottoms of columns and things to get an idea of scale Ba'albek is a sprawling confusion of ancient-to-modern stonework fragments One of the truly immense blocks at Ba'albek....at the bottom levels of the stonework. Note difference in surfaces from the blocks above. Also, this block has square holes in it similar to the large core stones of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem Immense blocks of the "secondary retaining wall" at Ba'albek   "Stone of the Pregnant Woman" in the Ba'albek quarry After excavating around the Stone of the Pregnant Woman in the quarry, it was discovered to be sitting on top of two even larger blocks Dropped Block in between Ba'albek and the quarry Look at this for a while and try to really grasp the fact that someone was actually fucking moving this thing Another view of the "second retaining wall", you can see where later peoples have cut into the stones to make passageways Biggest stuff is always at the bottom at Ba'albek, note the jumbled sculpt work on some of the blocks, indicating they were recycled "Second retaining wall" is clearly disconnected with the remainder of the platform Note heavy weathering on lowest blocks in the foreground         Truly immense entryway into temple of Bacchus From "Archaeological Park" in Jerusalem, here is a very large core/foundation block with characteristic square "lifting" holes   Beneath the Temple Mount, where some of the truly large original core blocks remain to this day Close-up of Temple Mount core block surface       Petrified wood stuck in core block in Jerusalem         Egyptian stone vase made from porphyry Made of Andesite, a very hard type of granite Egyptian bottle made from amethyst, a gemstone not known for softness       How about Holy Shit P.S. Why is Russ even in this comic? He doesn't say anything or do anything

Episode #010: The Enuma Elish and The Sphinx Controversy

Episode ten! Wow. Anyway, we dedicate this show to questions, comments, emails, catcalls, and heckling from listeners who just want us to slow down, chill out, and explain some things in detail, because we're always referring to these things but we've never actually explained what they are. So we try to do that.  Kyle does an excellent job despite constant interruptions from Russ, while Russ does a terrible job despite zero interruptions from Kyle, and in this way we go thru the Sumerian "creation myths", the erosion patterns on the Sphinx enclosure, and the catastrophic end of the recent ice age. Kyle ties all of these things together into a gigantic fucking conspiracy while Russ makes ominous sound effects.  Also, bananas are---once again---not discussed. The Big Rock Dry cateracts in the channeled scablands Grand Coulee Dry Falls Potholes in Basalt in the channeled scablands     Giant potholes   Huge current ripples in Montana prairie land Massive current ripples, taken from airplane Enki, With horned elongated skull and shoulder rivers The Annunaki as Bird Therianthropes Note Exoskeleton?  on Leg   Madagascar. (In case you missed it) Madagascar coastline with clear imprints left from immense tsunamis....note the scale at lower left Madagascar coastline with multiple high water lines Huge tsunami "chevron" deposits 4,000 miles away from Madagascar, the Australian west coast, with clear signs of huge tsunamis   Sphinx enclosure walls displaying vertical erosion patterns from heavy rainfall Ancient limestone core blocks visible above and behind newer granite casing Limestone core blocks behind granite casing stones Sphinx enclosure walls erosion

Episode #009: Because, Again....Pyramids

In this episode, we discuss pyramids and Babel and pyramids and tacos and pyramids and Newton and pyramids and physics and pyramids and genetics and pyramids and alchemy and then we finish it off with a discussion about pyramids. P. S. (Also, Kyle does the most amazing impersonation of Christopher Dunn ever done by anyone anywhere ever. It starts somewhere around 9 minutes in and it's amazing. Did I mention it's awesome?) P. P. S. (All in good fun, btw. We have much respect for Mr. Dunn and his contributions to these mysteries.)

Episode #008: The Ordinary Extraordinary, Lucid Dreaming, Easter Island

First up in this episode are excerpts from another Fortean Times article, this one details a whole list of event types that most people consider to be extraordinary, but in fact these happen nearly every day. After that we touch on the topic of the Information Universe, then slide seamlessly into a discussion on dreams, where we ponder the question of why we can't use our smartphones in our dreams so we can Google how to do stuff like lucid dreaming, because for some reason the dream realm does not seem to have things like smartphones and computers. Sleep paralysis also comes up. Finally, we completely fail to bring closure to any of those topics by spending the last segment talking about Easter Island.

Episode #007: Metal Books, Mormons, and Mars

We have our first guest on the show, Ethan Hack, who sat in the studio with us and argued with everything we said and basically told us we're dumb. Generally this is an assessment we agree with, but we proved him wrong anyway, just to be nice. Other than that, we discuss an interesting document from the official CIA website, a whole list of odd events from the last hundred years taken from an article posted in the Fortean Times, stopping lasers with your mind, and how to become the Most Badass Martial Artist Ever. Also, Mormons and metal books and truths hidden in lies.

Episode #006: Books of Gold & OOPArts

In this episode we discuss the origin of the name of the podcast and how we both became interested in these topics. Then we talk ancient lost cities, Mormons, Nephas and Babel. Also, we take our very first caller/complaint who calls to bitch about Kyle not knowing who wrote Star Wars. We end the show with some more accounts of out of place artifacts and places allegedly found within the United States.

Episode #005: Because Pyramids

In episode five we outline the "Because Pyramids" hypothesis, which, in brief, posits that all of western civilization exists because around 6,000 years ago some dudes in buttflaps found giant stone triangles in the desert. Keeping with the subject of ancient Egypt, we talk about the Book of the Dead and how the Egyptians seemed to have made a science out of investigating the afterlife, building a picture of the various trials and tests a human soul must face and pass after death in order to achieve ascension to the stars. Because of the 2-D nature of Egyptian illustration, Russ associates the depictions in the Book of the Dead with oldschool 2d "platform jumper" videogames, which totally ruins the whole "spiritual enlightenment" thing. We also touch on the extraordinary nature of the so-called "air shafts" in the Great Pyramid, and specifically the "Queen's Chamber" shafts and the "door" discovered by Gantenbrink, which Zahi Hawass penetrated on live TV ten years later, and the strange, faint marks on the floor of the shaft beyond the door. This show is almost entirely focused on ancient Egypt. Enjoy! Book of the Dead. If this was a videogame strategy guide, this would be the creatures list.  Translation: Show up in a boat. Bring people with sun hats. Use the sun hats to build a Sputnik. When the birds come to steal the sun, stand beneath it and pretend it's a hat to confuse them. Do not give high fives to anyone sitting on a table.  The Weighing of the Heart, from the Book of the Dead. That Feather of Truth better have some heft to it.  Boss Fight!!  A side scrolling platform jumper game. See the resemblance? Look, there's even pyramids and mummies.  Queen's chamber. Air shaft opening on left. King's chamber. Air shaft opening on right.  How the air shafts were formed Structure of the shafts through the layers of the pyramid blocks. Note the locking blocks, labeled D, below...these keep the entire shaft structure from sliding down into the chambers. The "door", as Gantenbrink found it The door being penetrated ten years later Some of the symbols found beyond the door Manuscript 512. Note large, annoying worm-eaten area near top. Episode #004: Daylight Saving, Magic, and Climate Change

We start this episode with a rant about "daylight savings time" which everyone seems to hate and yet gets passed through every sitting congress, and possibly how the purpose of such a detestable rule is to disconnect us from the cosmos so we can't do magic. (hey, it's possible)  We introduce more of our patented SnakeBros terminology, such as "Longhead"(hominid with an elongated cranium),  "Nephas" (a less formal version of the word Nephilim, as in "Whassup mah Nepha").  We talk about ancient giants with double dentition and the conspiracy to conceal them. We talk about reports of tombs full of loot, but with the primary corpse missing(looters took the corpse and left all the loot??) There are other tangents here and there, then the final subject is climate change. Hypogeum   More Hypogeum  and even MOAR Hypogeum Paracas Elongatus Different morphologies of Longheads The skull on the left has a cranial capacity of 2500-2800 cc Artist renditon of a longead The Coneheads from SNL "WE ARE FROM FRANCE"  Artist rendition of a human attacking a Nepha Photo of the Siberian Taiga forest near the area of the Tunguska explosion 800 square miles of trees blown down like matchsticks, radiating away from the epicenter of the explosion
