The Grey Area of Drinking with Savannah Stein

This week Kat (@kat.defatta) brings on her friend Savannah (@savannah.stein) to talk about a somewhat touchy subject. This episode is all about the grey area of drinking. The truth is, you don't have to meet all of the DSM V’s criteria for Substance Use Disorder to make a decision to stop drinking alcohol. Likewise, making the decision to stop drinking alcohol doesn't mean you are an addict or an alcoholic. Savannah walks us through her decision to enter a lifestyle where drinking isn’t a thing she does and how it is helping her uncover who she is truly made to be. My job isn’t to put labels on you or make you think everything you are doing is wrong or bad, it is to make you think. This episode is something I hope will encourage some to really look into how alcohol is used to cope with the discomfort of just being human at times; and if it’s helping or hurting.  Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
