Mentor Session #5 - YOU have the power to change the world

In this short episode, I share with you a story about a wonderful man I met in 2017 through my time with the Princes Trust called Tom. Tom has Downs Syndrome. But this does not stop him from having a positive impact on everyone he meets. My message here is simple. We can effect great change. It isn't about changing the world. It's about making an impact and a difference with every interaction we have. One person at a time.

Interview Sessions Ep 10 with Helen Packham

Ep 10 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Leadership and Business Coach Helen Packham. During the interview, Helen shared her story, a story that involves telling her story through a @tedx_official she gave at the Brighton Dome and how she now helps leaders stand out by telling their own story. It was great to hear a bit more about what it meant for Helen to BELIEVE and DREAM and also how vision boards and visualisation played a bit part in helping her along the way. I particularly like the insight she gave into preparing her mindset before delivering her TedX talk. She used the Power Pose by @amycuddy as used a POWER word 🔥 Helen’s story and view on the world is an idea more than worthy of spreading as she now helps develop COURAGEOUS Leaders. Head to HelenPackham.co.uk or connect on Facebook to find out more from Helen.

Interview Sessions Ep 9 with Anna Sandborn

Episode 9 was with Swedish NLP Business Coach and Leader Anna Sandborn 💙 Anna talked about how surviving a serious car accident at the age of 15 has given her the perspective to live her life and to do the things she wants to do 🙌🏻 After a lot of success and achievement throughout her 20’s, Anna started to lose herself in her early 30’s. What is unbelievable is that Anna survived another serious car accident. 😲 This gave her another reminder that she has to make the most of the life she has been blessed with. Anna’s shared some lessons she’s learned along the way: 💙Look back at your achievements, progress and lessons to gain strength 💙Pain can take you to a better place 💙Show vulnerability and ask for help 💙Set healthy boundaries with things or people 💙Do I have to it do I want to? - do more of what you want to It was a privilege to interview Anna. She has been a wonderful contributor to the WE ARE ABTY community and I’m very grateful for her support and friendship.

Mentor Session #3 - Lessons in confidence from a 5 year old

In this session, my son Corey wanted to do his first ever facebook live to my community of nearly 300 people, to talk about coaching, confidence and to help them be happy. :) Its amazing what we can learn from curiosity, kindness and innocence. I am super proud of him. He may not want to be like his Dad in future and be a coach and that's ok. I know that his values of service and kindness will mean that he goes on to make a difference wherever he goes.
