Guest Bio:Today's guest, Kevin Trost, is the president of Clear Home. This guy manages thousands of sales reps that go out every year and they sell satellite and cable door to door. He's also one of my close friends. I've known this guy for 15 years. If ever I felt like I missed out in life on something, it was by the time I met this dude, he was already married. And I can promise that we would have had so many good times and shenanigans had we'd been single at the same time. But he has moved on to bigger and better things, and he is killing it. And life is such a good time. It was recently a guest on his podcast, Blades of Steel, where they just love to talk about sports. I also have a podcast for the door to door industry. Kevin is a natural leader. He's a kind of guy that you just know cares about you. And this is a really fun podcast for me. There's so much knowledge here having the experience he does, training all these Rebs, managing all these reps and just taking care of them. And so I know you're going to love Kevin. Guest Bio:Rachel Slawson was crowned Miss Utah USA 2020 on Saturday, January 18, making her the first out contestant to win the coveted title. Rachel, 25, will continue on the same history-making path when she competes on a bigger stage in the Miss USA pageant this spring. Since its inception in 1952, Miss USA has never had an openly bisexual contestant, until now.At 19-years-old, Rachel tried to commit suicide after she lost Miss Utah USA, she wrote in a candid post on Instagram just one day after winning the pageant. Rachel was crowned Miss Utah USA 2020 after competing in the pageant five times. “After a few trips to the psych ward, being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (the reason I had such an extreme reaction to losing a pageant) and finally coming to terms with who I am as a queer woman,” she wrote in part in the caption of a photo from the night she was crowned. As Miss Utah USA she plans to share her “truth.”She works as a suicide prevention advocate for the Crisis Text Line and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Rachel speaks out frequently about her own experiences, both good and bad with mental health struggles on social media. Her hashtag, #IAmWhy, promotes self-worth. Rachel has spoken about mental health at events, including the TEDxCitrusParkWomen event in California on December 7, 2019. She’s focused on breaking down the stigmas surrounding bipolar disorder and other mental health issues, which she blogs about on her website.

In his first year, he broke the rookie record at Alterra pest control selling 459 accounts in less than four months, bringing in more than $220,000 of revenue in personal sales. He has gone on to recruit, mentor, train, and manage more than 800 sales reps over the last six years. In 2017 alone, Chandler’s sales region Aptive Elite sold and serviced over 20,000 pest control accounts bringing in more than $11,330,000 in gross sales for Aptive Environmental. While expanding his sales region, he has invested in one condo, two homes, two duplex’s, ten fourplex’s, one eightplex, and three commercial buildings totaling 58 doors. He is passionate about sales, real-estate investing, mentoring, travel, and most importantly, his family.

Guest Bio:Growing up in Boise, Idaho, I was the middle child of 7, in a very athletic family. With my dad as my mentor and trainer, I started hitting the gym and the track from an early age. I immediately fell in love with fitness, and there wasn’t much that I couldn’t do.By the time I started high school, I was smashing all the weight lifting records and playing high school football, which later led me onto a college football career. At 23 years old, my football career had just ended earlier than I wanted it to, I was fresh off a divorce, a college drop-out, and I knew I needed to make a change.I decided to dig deep and do the thing I knew best. Pick me up off the floor and get after it.I was approached to take part in the Boise Fit Expo’s Fit Body Contest. After coming away with a win, I soon started to look for other competitions. I found the Muscle & Fitness Male model search competition in Las Vegas held during the Olympia. I worked hard and got into the best shape of my life, all while finishing my bachelor’s degree. At the conclusion of the contest, I walked away from the winner. That win really springboarded me into the fitness scene.Since then, I’ve competed in multiple bodybuilding and physique competitions, and have been a spokesperson for bodybuilding.com, Optimum Nutrition, and Gymshark. I’ve appeared on multiple magazine covers including Muscle & Fitness, Men's Fitness and Iron Man. And most recently I became the newest coach on USA Network’s “The Biggest Loser.”In addition, I’ve begun my journey of creating and producing my own fitness content. I’ve shared education and inspiration on YouTube and Instagram, becoming one of the most recognizable faces in fitness.Currently, I own a gym in St. George, UT, and a fitness app called Fitness Culture. Their two sons are graduates of the US Naval Academy, serving as active naval officers. Guest Bio:The Squatty Potty Story begins at the home of the Edwards Family — Bill, Judy, and their son Bobby, the inventors and creators of Squatty Potty toilet stools and the owners of Squatty Potty, LLC, a small family business in Saint George, Utah.Although the family had always been very health conscious, they were dealing with some problems that most families are too embarrassed to discuss — constipation and hemorrhoids. In 2010, in search of relief, Judy Edwards consulted a therapist, who suggested that squatting might improve her condition by helping to relax her colon.Though unaccustomed to the practice of squatting to poop, Judy was desperate to try anything, and squatting did seem to be the more natural way to do one’s business. After all, people had been squatting to poop since the dawn of humanity, and three quarters of the world’s population still swear by it.As would be the case, Judy’s home in southern Utah was equipped with a modern, western-style toilet. While she found relief with the squatting position — raising her feet on a step stool while sitting on the toilet — it was very awkward and uncomfortable.Short of strapping on stilts, she tried everything to place herself in the proper position to ease her discomfort — different step stools, books, buckets, and other easily procured household items. One was too high, another was too low, and none of them felt just right. The clutter also blocked the path to the most urgently needed household appliance, resulting in numerous incidents of stubbed toes, especially in the middle of the night.Fortunately, about 35 years before this story began, Judy had given birth to a baby boy, Bobby Edwards, whom Judy and Bill raised to become a successful designer and contractor. When Bobby caught wind of his mother’s plight, he quickly realized that the standard stepstool could be redesigned. Working in the family’s garage, Bobby built several prototypes until he found one that worked — a platform of optimum height and width for assuming the squatting position and U-shaped to tuck conveniently out of the way when not in use.The device worked so well, the Edwards built several more to give to friends and family at Christmas, and the gift was such a hit, Bobby launched a website in 2011 and started marketing and selling the product online. Squatty Potty was born. Online sales were a resounding success, with the home-based business grossing over $1 million in its first year. In that year, the Edwards had shipped their product to every state in the U.S. along with 17 other countries.In 2012, shortly after moving production from their garage to a local warehouse, the “Dr. Oz” show called. Bill Edwards answered and thought it was a prank call from one of his kids, but he soon realized that the call was legit, and he shipped a Squatty Potty to the studio, so they could film the segment. When the segment aired, orders started pouring in.

Guest Bio:Ryan has been involved in a very successful Internet marketing company since 2001 when the Internet began! Promoting everything from supplements, biz opp, and lead generation. With his twin brother Jeff Gardner, their affiliate network (with only 3 other employees) did over $25M+ in revenue in 2010 driving traffic. Ryan and Jeff also saw that social media was trending and started their own Social media agency in the beginning of 2015.Eventually, Ryan and Jeff realized it was best to promote their own offer and products.His involvement with Deer Antler Spray began before it became headline news with professional sports. Ryan purchased the domain name DeerAntlerSpray.com in 2013 prior to Ray Lewis getting accused of taking it before the Super Bowl and sales exploded overnight. Ryan says it was "Right Time...Right Place" and attributes it to being blessed and by working smart and hard. Shortly after the Super Bowl he got Deer Antler Spray into GNC and sold thousands of bottles a week for the next two years. Ryan, with the help of Jose Reyes who owned his own GNC, came up with the idea to launch a Pre Workout. Despite the wishes and threat of being "grounded" by his parents he purchased BUCKEDUP.com for $1500 and named the first pre workout "Bucked Up". With a great logo, flavor profile, right ingredients, and a non proprietary blend the company has never looked back and making waves in the supplement industry.
