 The children were excited as they got ready to go to Grandmother and Grandfather Grey’s house for a visit. They took the train and couldn’t wait to spend Thanksgiving Day with their grandparents. The farm was an exciting place and the kids couldn’t wait to go exploring and say hello to all the animals. The kids climbed up onto the shed too and were having a lot of fun until someone knocked the ladder down. They called to Grandfather to come and help them. She was looking for someone who had great ideas and made her laugh but none of the people nearby could so they got angry and sent the wind after her. This upset her father and he had Whirlwind banished from their village. Since Whirlwind and Rain were best friends they both left. After a while the land began to suffer from no rain or wind and the animals went to search for them but had no luck. It was Sparrow who finally found them and brought them back.  This is a story of a bumblebee who is very lazy. He lives with his very large family in the old house of Mrs. Field Mouse. The bees are all very busy and in order to get all their work done they need to wake up very early. One of the bees is in charge of waking them all up and she does a great job every morning very early. Buster thinks it is awful that he is awaken so early every morning and goes to complain to the bee in charge about changing the time. Things do not go quite as he had planned.
