Lakin Brant
Welcome to a new season of 15:14! This season we are making some changes, including the addition of a co-host, Lakin Brant. Lakin is an intern for the Biblical Counseling Coalition. She is currently studying biblical counseling at Boyce College, where she serves on the student leadership board and is a resident advisor. Lakin enjoys serving in her church, especially with her 7th grade girls, flowers, traveling, and line dancing. Lakin won’t be in every episode this season but she will be in many. This episode is a chance for you to get to know both co-hosts a little better.

Lead Healthy Retreats
Garrett Higbee joins us for this episode of 15:14 to share about Lead Healthy Retreats, a new ministry opportunity provided by Twelve Stones Ministry. Garrett has counseled for over 30 years and recently became the director of Twelve Stones North Indianapolis, where he hosts Lead Healthy Retreats© for pastors, ministry leaders, and their spouses (Leadhealhtyretreats.com). He is also the leader care specialist for the Great Commission Collective, a church planting network. As president of Soul Care Consulting, he leads a team of gifted consultants that help churches get healthy by building a culture of discipleship and care (soulcareconsulting.com). Garrett is a founding board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and Twelve Stones Ministries. He has been married to Tammy for over 25 years, and they have three children, Rachel, Zach, and Sarah. Dr. Robert Jones
Bob is a biblical counseling professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, having served previously for twelve years at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Open Door Church in Raleigh, and nineteen years before that as a lead pastor. He also serves as a visiting professor at several seminaries in the US and Brasil. Bob graduated from The King’s College, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.Div.), Westminster Theological Seminary (D.Min.), and the University of South Africa (D.Theol.). He is a fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, a certified Christian conciliator with Peacemaker Ministries, and the author of Pursuing Peace, Uprooting Anger, and numerous booklets, articles, and chapters. Bob and Lauren, his wife of thirty-five years, have two adult sons.

Getting to Know Adrian Martinez
Adrian has had the privilege of working in pastoral ministries since 1998 and has been active in counselling since 2005. He is the Head of Counselling at the Australian College of Christian Studies (Sydney), is the executive director of the Centre for Biblical Counselling, and actively serves on the board of Biblical Counselling Australia. Adrian is married to his Australian bride Jen, and they have five lovely children. They live in Melbourne, Australia, where Adrian enjoys family time and his coffee, lots and lots of coffee.

Edward Wilde Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling
Edward Charles Wilde, Esq., B.A., JD, is an associated attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom. He also holds an MABC from The Master’s University, where he has been an adjunct professor since 2002. As a professor, he has taught a number of classes concerning business law, psychology, and Christian ministry. He is a contributing author of Men Counseling Men, coeditor of Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling, and is a content editor and contributor to the Journal of Biblical Soul Care. He and his wife, Kelley, live in Los Angeles and have five children, one of whom is with the Lord. Dr. Wilde joins us to discuss the recently published book which he helped write and edit, Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling.
