Transitions
Getting out of the house with kids can sometimes take longer than the actual activity you're getting out for, am I right? Transitions used to be a huge struggle for both of us but once we started adding in connection and being mindful of where our kids were at, they became so much easier. We're talking about all the ways we build up to the moment of transition and what we do when there is no "easy" way out. Don't forget to rate, review, subscribe and check out our Patreon!

Chores and Allowance
As members of the family, we expect our kids to do chores and help out around the house; sometimes we even pay them for the jobs. And once they earn their money, we expect them to manage it responsibly. But where do they learn that? And how do we guide them in that without making ourselves crazy? Michelle has so many great resources, we decided to link them all here! We have lots of fun extras up on our Patreon, check it out if you haven't already; we appreciate you all so much!!

Parenting Peacefully Isn't Always Easy Part One
Have you ever been so dedicated to doing something, working all the angles, putting in all the time and effort and there are still days when it just doesn't work? You know about connection, you use it, you even do Special Time and listen to big feelings. With all that hard work you just want the pay-off the regulated behavior and the calm child. It doesn't seem fair or kind or at all manageable at times. Quite frankly it isn't, this parenting thing is far from fair or easy. Listen in as we try to give our good friend, Casey, a place to discuss what is hard about parenting with more peace. This episode is a real look at a parenting challenge and a kind loving mom who finds herself in the thick of things just like the rest of us, every single day.
