Lily James needs no real introduction, what with her appearing in the likes of massive hits like Downton Abbey, Cinderella and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, but just in case: it's the Lily James you know from Baby Driver. And The Darkest Hour. And hey, maybe, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. And with her new BBC One period comedy drama The Pursuit Of Love on the way - highly recommended, by the by - she'll be 'The Pursuit Of Love's Lily James' soon enough. Here she speaks to Ali about her 'Story So Far', touching on all of the above and, as they say, much much more.

A League Of Their Own is the movie pick for 'Ali Plumb's Film Club' this week, chosen by guest Cathy Cullen from the Cinemile podcast. So there's that to look forward to, as well as the usual does of movie and TV news - but this Friday edition we also have some TV recommendations for you now that Line Of Duty has wrapped up, as well as a segment at the very end about the best 'underseen / underappreciated' sports movies of all time. Here he talks to Ali about his 'Story So Far' and neatly manages to dodge some potentially spoilerish Black Panther 2 questions. Well played sir, well played.

Joining us to do so is Sam Clements, who hosts the '90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest' podcast which celebrates all moves under that magic 90-minute mark - only this time, here on this podcast, he gets to talk about one that's just over, at 92 minutes or so. Our Ali resists flat-out asking Andy Samberg to be his 'new best friend' during this Story So Far interview in honour of his new time-loopy romantic comedy-drama Palm Springs, now - at long last! - available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK, nearly a year after those lucky Americans got to see it first in 2020.
