The utterly delightful Emily Blunt returns as a guest on BBC Radio 1's Screen Time to talk about her latest film, the long-awaited horror-thriller A Quiet Place Part 2, finally now in UK cinemas. Expect a joyfully anarchic tone generally as Ali and Emily talk leg injuries, how to be come best friends with Cillian Murphy and car stunts with Tom Cruise.

With The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soon to celebrate its 20th birthday, LOTR superfan and friend of the podcast Clarisse Loughrey stops by to wax lyrical with Ali about the sheer unadulterated excellence of Peter Jackson's fantasy trilogy. So there's that to look forward to - as well as a tonne of iconic quotes to enjoy - as well as a shorter-than-usual news section and a reminder of what's still to come in June...

Emma Stone and Emma Thompson spoke to Ali over that there internet recently to talk about their latest, Disney's Cruella, a live-action tale of the origin story of the 101 Dalmatians villain. Also along for the ride are director Craig Gillespie and co-stars Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Jon McCrae. All were on fine form, even when Ali managed to stick his foot in it in a gloriously unfortunate way.

A bonus interview special for you this weekend - that's right, you've been good, you deserve it - in the form of this The Mitchells vs. the Machines chat with its director Mike Rianda as well as its producers, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. All three are on excellent form as they discuss their critically-acclaimed animation now that so many of us have had a chance to watch it and fall in love with it. Expect discussions that involve 'Shining socks' and small wooden moose figurines. As you do.

Director-writer-producer-director-of-photography Zack Snyder is back with another zombie movie - just 17 years after Dawn Of The Dead - in the form of Netflix's Army Of The Dead, which sees Dave Bautista heading up a group of mercenaries as they attempt a Las Vegas casino vault heist... while thousands of zombies swarm around the building. In this interview special you'll hear from both Snyder and Bautista, as well as some of the supporting cast, namely Nora Arnezeder, Ana de la Reguera, Ella Purnell, Tig Notaro, Matthias Schweighöfer and Omari Hardwick. It's a bumper episode, and no mistake!

Cinemas are back open in England, Scotland and Wales so Ali is very, very excited indeed. Listen as we try not to talk about Assassin's Creed too much (she's a big fan) and instead chat about the finest horror films of the 21st century - in our opinion, any way - as well as the ongoing success of the Conjuring franchise. All that plus the usual mix of movie news and nonsense as we celebrate going back to cinemas (in England, Scotland and Wales, at any rate) on Monday May 17th.
