Sometimes a film comes along that Ali is so passionate about he dedicates a whole episode of the Radio 1 Screen Time podcast to it. Everything Everywhere All At Once is one of those movies. A studio no less, a radio studio to boot, which means their unique blend of geekery and nonsense can finally - after two years - waffle out onto the airwaves (and so this podcast) in the way it was truly originally meant to. The pair try to review Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness without giving away any spoilers, then as a bonus there's an attempt at touching on the biggest news headlines of the past two weeks or so. Again: "attempt" is very much the right word.

So, you're a Marvel fan. Don't blame you in the slightest. This means you're excited about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hitting cinemas very soon, on May 6th here in the UK. This also means you'd like to hear some fun conversations with the film's stars - but also don't want any spoilers at the same time. Well, good news! Neither myself nor Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong had seen the movie at the time of recording these chats, so it's movie-adjacent nonsense o'clock, just the way you (hopefully) like it...

If you haven't seen The Suicide Squad TV spin-off Peacemaker, it's probably a good idea to watch it before you press play on this particular episode of Radio 1's Screen Time, what with it featuring a mini-spoiler special discussion of the show with Clarisse Loughrey as well as a lovely conversation with is break-out star, Freddie Stroma, who plays the incredible Vigilante a.k.a. 'Vig'. Good luck getting the theme tune out of your head again, it really is devilishly catchy.

If you don't know Anya Taylor-Joy yet, chances are you just haven't gotten round to watching Split, Glass, Emma, Queen's Gambit, The Witch, Last Night In Soho, Thoroughbreds or her latest, Robert Eggers's Viking revenge epic The Northman, just yet. When you see ATJ - as no-one calls her - on screen you just know she's going to be HUGE. Perhaps her role in the upcoming Mad Max spin-off prequel Furiosa will be the one?
