Born Free Method: The Podcast
Nathan Riley
The institutions and individuals who run the world would like you to believe that you are powerless. That there's nothing you can do to improve the wellbeing of your family. That you aren't smart enough to understand shmancy science stuff. That eating and living well is too hard for most...so why try? That exercising your rights to informed consent and refusal is irresponsible. That having a birth on you terms, in your own home would be incorrigible. That pregnancy is a disease and childbirth is a medical procedure. That your symptoms are "all in your head". That cervical cancer is an inevitable consequence of HPV infection.

What the hell happened in Canada during COVID? An interview with Mary Sharpe, RM, MEd, PhD, and Deanna McLeod, HBSc, of the Canadian Covid Care Alliance
Sponsored by: Organifi, WeNatal, biOptimizers, BIRTHFIT, Immune Intel AHCC, Rosemary MeranWe thought it we had it bad in the U.S. during the COVID "moment", but Canada had its socks rocked off. Fortunately a group of scientists and healthcare workers turned freedom fighters in our mighty neighbor to the North have joined forces to provide much-needed data and insights from what we know (and don't know) about the new mRNA vaccines advertised to "halt the spread of SARS-CoV-2" in order to support family autonomy and re-boot truly informed consent. This alliance is called the Candian Covid Care Alliance (CCCA)In this mini-sode, you'll hear from two of the CCCA freedom fighters. Mary Sharpe, RM, MEd, PhD, is a highly experienced midwife and an original rebel in the renaissance of midwifery in Ontario, Canada, as well as a professor of midwifery. Deanna McLeod is the principal and founder of Kaleidoscope Strategic Inc., an independent medical research firm that supports Canadian clinicians in preparing world class evidence-based reviews that advance patient care nationally and internationally in the areas of oncology, premed immunology and psychology. In March 2021, she launched COVID Sense to equip the non-scientific person with the skills required to interpret COVID-19 data and make informed choices for themselves and others. She has authored over 46 scientific publications. Germ theory and the collapse of medical science?
With viruses "all the rage" in the media, a true scientist must ask themself, "What is a virus?" The next logical question: "Can I be sure that viruses cause disease?" I don't have the answers to these questions, but curiosity abounds. It's not so much the need of the medical sciences to have the answers, but it should would be helpful if there were incentive structures in place to help us find our way. This isn't a solo cast focused solely on SARS-CoV-2. This is a solo cast focused on the sad path that the medical sciences have taken, particularly as scientific inquiry pertains to germ theory and viruses as the sole perpetrator in disease. And my concerns here are not just applicable to infectious disease. They're equally applicable to any of the medical specialties, not least of which is birth. If we aren't able to ask questions, then we'll never be presented with answers. If we continue to demonize pathogens as the sole perpetrators on human health, and fail to emphasize the importance of personal responsibility for one's health, we are doomed. Kemi Johnson: A conversation on radical change by challenging maternity care
Sponsored by: WeNatal, BIRTHFIT, Rosemary Meran, biOptimizers, OrganifiKemi Johnson, a passionate mother, birth keeper, and activist, fearlessly challenges the flawed system in maternity care perpetuated by certain healthcare professionals. Kemi criticizes the Chief Midwifery Officer for allegedly coercing pregnant individuals into taking the experimental vaccine without sufficient safety data. Jennifer Lang, MD: Embracing unconventional paths in a journey of advocacy, empathy, and sexual wellness
Jennifer Lang is a medical doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Alongside her professional expertise, she is a mother to three children aged 14, 13, and 11. Jennifer's debut book, titled "The Whole 9 Months: A Week-by-Week Pregnancy Guide with Recipes for a Healthy Start," was driven by her strong belief in the transformative power of food during pregnancy. She firmly advocates for adopting healthy eating habits during this crucial time to establish a lifelong foundation of well-being for children. Jennifer's aim is to inspire expectant mothers and their families to approach pregnancy with heightened mindfulness and a commitment to self-care. She emphasizes the role parents play as influential figures for their little ones, acknowledging that the journey towards nutritious dietary choices commences even before birth. As Jennifer's own children grow, she has increasingly recognized the paramount importance of providing them with the necessary knowledge to develop a positive and healthy relationship with their bodies, as well as with others. Motivated by this realization, she penned her latest book, "Consent: Every Teen's Guide to Healthy Sexuality." Jennifer perceives a lack of accessible resources that address comprehensive sexual education while centering on the essential aspect of every sexual interaction, consent. She believes that teaching teenagers about the significance of mutual, active, affirmative, and enthusiastic consent is pivotal as they embark on their path of self-discovery and transition into young adulthood.Visit the show notes for more.Learn More & Connect with Jennifer:InstagramFacebookTwitterBooks by Jennifer Lang, MD:Consent: The New Rules of Sex Education: Every Teen's Guide to Healthy Sexual RelationshipsThe Whole 9 Months: A Week-By-Week Pregnancy Nutrition Guide with Recipes for a Healthy StartThis episode was made possible by:AHCC - code BELOVED10 for 10% off on Immune IntelBIRTHFIT - code BELOVED to get one month FREE in their B! James Thorp, MD: The unspoken truth, a highly credentialed OB-GYN's concerns on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout
Dr. James Thorp is a 68-year-old OB/GYN specialist in maternal-fetal medicine from Florida. With over 42 years of experience, he has seen 6,000 to 7,000 high-risk pregnant patients annually. Since the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, he has observed a significant rise in fetal deaths and miscarriages among his patients. However, it's hard to know the full extent of these adverse effects due to gag orders imposed on physicians and nurses since September 2021. Despite risking his career, Dr. Thorp is speaking out about what he's seeing in his practice and the information available in Pfizer's documents and the VAERS database. In his opinion, the mRNA vaccines aren't safe for pregnant women and their fetuses. As an accredited OB/GYN, Dr. James underwent intensive research during his three years of subspecialty training, which has given him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in counseling patients. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1979 with a health profession scholarship and was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force. Despite the risk of being relegated to a low-tier military residency program, he was fortunate to have a mentor in Ign Phillip Seis and his impressive credentials are a testament to his dedication to his profession.Visit the show notes for more.(Video with James' slides was removed from Youtube, but you can now find it here on Rumble!)Learn More & Connect with James: TwitterSponsorship made possible by:BIRTHFIT - code BELOVED to get one month FREE in their B! Caitlyn Schollmeier: Breaking societal expectations, a journey from medic to certified nurse midwife in training
Caitlyn Schollmeier, a certified nurse midwife in training, has an impressive background that includes serving as a medic in the Air Force and competing in beauty pageants. Despite not working as a labor and delivery nurse, Caitlyn has amassed a substantial social media following, where she shares her thoughts on the birthing system and other topics. Caitlyn has faced criticism for her participation in beauty pageants, with some viewing it as contradictory to her feminist beliefs. However, she sees pageants as a form of personal development and a way to challenge herself and that women should be able to pursue whatever interests they have, whether they align with traditional expectations or not. As she continues to advocate for women in the birthing system, Caitlyn embraces the idea that women are complex and multi-faceted beings who can pursue various passions. She believes feminism means challenging societal expectations and allowing women to pursue their interests without judgment. She notes that even those who claim to be feminists may still try to impose their own beliefs on women, instead of allowing them to define their own paths.
