71 - Mind-Blowing Evidence to Enhance Your Confidence in Christianity, with J. Warner Wallace
Whether you're a believer or a skeptic, this episode is not to be missed!
What evidence is there that Christianity is true? As it turns out, quite. a. lot.
Discovering the evidence for Christianity (and again, there is a lot of it) can have a profound impact on the confidence of believers. How many of us have had our belief strengthened by learning, for example, that archaeology corroborates the accounts of the Bible, or that the universe is unbelievably fine-tuned to support human life?
And while only God can change a sinner’s heart and mind, he is free to use (and frequently does use) the abundant evidence that exists as part of the process of bringing someone to saving faith. It was true for C. S. Lewis, and it was true in the personal testimony of my guest in this episode, J. Warner (“Jim”) Wallace.
In this amazing interview, Jim explains why the early dating of the Gospels and Acts are so important for demonstrating the reliability of their accounts, and therefore for the reliability of the Christian message.
Jim also gives epic advice on how to respond when someone objects that, “Sure, maybe Jesus rose from the dead, but that doesn’t mean he’s God,” as well as, “That may be your truth, but I have my truth” (an appeal to subjectivity).

70 - Beginners' Guide: Christian Metaphysics
Subscribe to the Think Podcast (And Please Leave A Review): link.chtbl.com/thinkpodcast
What is really real?
Socrates famously once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” And it’s certainly true that life is more interesting when we take the time to stop and ponder interesting ideas and questions.
The study of what is really real is called metaphysics. Metaphysics deals with the reality behind the reality that we see. The metaphysical explains (accounts for) the physical. As an analogy, think about your smartphone. What you see on the screen is not the whole story. There is advanced circuitry and a whole network behind that screen. That is like the metaphysical behind the physical.
According to recent research, In America, only about 5% of people hold a fully-consistent biblical worldview. If you are a Christian, this means that many of the people in your life are answering life’s most basic questions differently than you are. And that assumes that you yourself are operating out of a completely biblical worldview. So… are you? The way you think about metaphysics can help you answer that question.

69 - Advanced Guide: Christian Morality
The Bible, and the God who has revealed himself in its pages, provides the only adequate basis for morality.
The accusation of God’s immorality is done away with. When you encounter it, just remember the Christian view of morality is rooted in God’s character, and a discussion of God’s morality naturally leads to a presentation of the good news of the Gospel. That’s really where we want to take the conversation anyway. Discussing morality is just a means to that end.

66 - Why Muslims Need To Hear The Story Of The Prodigal Son (Friday Fireside)
The Parable of the Prodigal Son is found in the Bible in Luke 15:11-32.
I highly recommend opening your Bible and reading along with me (from the Christian Standard Bible translation) as I read in this episode. Here are the highlights:
A wealthy father had two sons.
The younger (“prodigal”) one demanded his inheritance early and ran off to pursue foolish living.
The prodigal ran out of money, fell into abject poverty and realized how much better he had it back home. Maybe he could return as a servant?
The father saw him far off and ran to greet him. He clothed him, had the fattened calf slaughtered and held a celebration.
The older son grew indignant at how his son had been welcomed back.
