What Is the Transcendental Argument for God?The Transcendental Argument for God (TAG) was first developed by Cornelius Van Til, the godfather of Presuppositional Apologetics. Since Van Til first articulated it, it has been picked up and worked on by subsequent theologians and apologists.  Today you’re going to hear from Joel Settecase, Kevin Blessum, Brian Kurkjian and Rob Barker. Is Christianity just a crutch?  Welcome to Worldview Legacy, with Joel Settecase (I don’t actually say my name in this episode, so if you didn’t know me, now you do).  This is a common thing you’ll hear non-Christians say. It’s different from many other objections such as “Can we trust the Bible,” or “Does Christianity contradict science,” because it’s a lot more emotional and less logical. It’s a “soul objection.” The good news is that you can answer soul objections the same way you answer every other challenge to your Christian faith—with a 3-step, presuppositional method that goes straight to the Gospel.  Specifically in this episode, you're going to learn:  How the person accusing Christianity of being a crutch is being arbitrary and inconsistent—and how to point this out.  Why the crutch objection itself makes no sense unless Christianity is true.
