FaceCulture is a daily-updated music platform for in-depth interviews, live sessions, and a lot more with your favorite artists. While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts. Having said that, we do want to provde the listener with as comfortable a listening experiences as possible, so not every interview that we do as FaceCulture will find its way to the podcast. Selah Sue (2022)
Selah Sue (Sanne Putseys) is een Vlaamse singer en songwriter die in 2010 doorbrak met het nummer 'Raggamuffin', dat haar o.a. een support optreden voor niemand minder dan Prince opleverde. Met haar debuutalbum Selah Sue (2011) en later ook Reason (2015) weet de Belgische zangeres meerder prijzen in de wacht te slepen, waaronder enkele Music Industry Awards, en spreekt ze ook een breder internationaal publiek aan. J.P. Intergalactic Lovers - Lara Chedraoui (2022)
Lara Chedraoui is een Belgische zangeres, songwriter, actrice en frontvrouw voor indierockband Intergalactic Lovers. De eerste successen werden geboekt met het nummer 'Fade Away' en 'Delay' en het daaropvolgende debuutalbum 'Greetings & Salutations'. Dit leidde tot vele optredens zowel in thuisland België als in Nederland en in de jaren erna volgden nog twee goed ontvangen platen. Nu, na een aantal jaren stilte rondom de band, en een paar hele moeilijke jaren voor Chedraoui in haar persoonlijk leven, is de band terug met het vierde album 'Liquid Love'. Alt-J - Thom Sonny Green (2022)
Thom Sonny Green is the drummer for English indie rock band Alt-J and Green has also released an electronic solo album in 'High Anxiety' (2016). Alt-J was formed in Leeds back in 2007 and with their debut album An Awesome Wave (2012) managed to win the British Mercury Prize. Their follow up 'This Is All Yours' (2014) landed them the number 1 spot on the UK charts and earned them a Grammy nomination. Animal Collective - Panda Bear (2022)
Noah Lennox, also known as Panda Bear, is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter who aside from his solowork creates and performs alongside musicians Avey Tare, Geologist and Deakin in the experimental pop band Animal Collective. The band made a name for themselves with their 2007 outing 'Strawberry Jam' and the 2009 follow-up 'Merriweather Post Pavillion', which is their most successful album to date.
