After seeing Soulja Boy make beats on the Internet, he picked up production to accompany his other creative hustles of graphic design and DJing. Soundcloud recently released a documentary called "Scenes: plugg" where they highlight a sound / culture that Benny has played an integral role in cultivating alongside Mexikodro and others. With Bear1Boss and ATL Smook on the Popstar FM roster, Benny has high hopes for growing his independent label / management company into something much bigger. In this episode of the One More Time Podcast, we interview Redd Push who talks about the remix for Money Mu's "Hittin" going viral, being the best A&R in Atlanta, Troy Carter as a CEO, and more!Redd Push is one of the top movers and shakers in Atlanta's music scene and is someone who values relationships more than money. Currently, he manages Money Mu and is Sr. Director of A&R at Venice Distribution company founded by the legend Troy Carter (yes, the guy who was on Shark Tank). Redd got his start as a party promoter and ended up playing an integral role in helping artists break into the ATL market. Eventually, Redd found himself managing Sy Ari da Kid and really started to prove himself as an A&R by being extremely hands on with the music. What he ended up doing with Money Mu's "Hittin" record is proof that artists need to stand on songs they made and not give up on them so easily. In this episode of the One More Time Podcast, we interview Tane Runo who talks about producing for Travis Scott, having a Justin Bieber song he produced get leaked, producers not getting paid on time, and more! Tane Runo is a platinum producer originally from Columbus, Ohio. His music journey started at a very young age. Inspired by the likes of Lil' Bow Wow, Tane did the child rapper thing for a minute but he also produced his first beat at the age of 4. He would eventually move to Atlanta, continue working on his production and consistently compete in beat battles around the city. With no placements under his belt, his talent caught the eye of A&R J. Hill and ultimately landed him a pub deal. After starting an indie label with a roster of almost 20 artists, he finally has time to focus on his own career. He has performed at almost every venue around the state and built his own successful promotion entity. Whereas he does not consider himself a "YouTube rapper", Clip has leaned into the YouTube platform and stresses the importance of it as a tool for upcoming artists.
