Today I am interviewing Lexie Bykova who is a Leadership coach & resilience and change mentor.
Lexie shares from a place of experiencing burnout herself, she shares how we should differentiate between stress and burnout - stress can be characterised by over-engagement — or doing too much — whereas burnout often leads to disengagement — or not doing enough — and feeling emotionally blunted. Here are some ways to recognise if you have burnout: 1. Become critical and cynical at work 2. You lack energy and motivation 3. Troubling sleeping 4. Feel dissatisfied even when you achieve things 5. Find it hard to concentrate. Lexie goes on to share how to deal with burnout.

Today I am interviewing Jeff Harry who is a Positive psychology play coach, who has been featured In NY Times, Mashable, Upworthy, and also an international speaker.
We explored how you can use play to create a great place to work, using play to help with those difficult conversations, dealing with toxic environments and making workplaces psychological safe. Jeff shares really valuable insights in how to focus on what makes employees happy in the workplace, looking to dial up areas of their work where they are in the 'flow', using Google as an example of the 20% program, where they allowed employees to use Friday to focus on what they loved at work - this created an abundance of innovations that came out like Google meet and Adsense.
