#81 How LinkedIn Can Revolutionize Your Brand with Brittany Krystle & Stacy Tuschl on The Foot Traffic Podcast

Ever wonder what you should change right now on your LinkedIn profile to start getting results? Curious if LinkedIn is even worth your time, suitable for your business niche, or where your ideal clients would hide out? Well, I’ve got something special for you today… Last week I was honored to have a conversation with the fabulous Stacy Tuschl, who is a rockstar in both the brick-and-mortar world AND the online space - the two of us talked all things marketing mindset, the value in investing in yourself, and what it takes to build not one, but two 7-figure businesses, both on and offline. (If you missed this episode, check it out here). Now it’s my turn in the hot seat and I’m so excited to share my interview from Stacy’s The Foot Traffic Podcast, who asked some amazing questions on my favorite subject: the power of LinkedIn! Stacy and I first met through the lovely Jasmine Star, who slipped Stacy a note in Lewis Howes’ mastermind, middle-school style, with my name scribbled on it as the expert to talk to when it came to building her own personal brand through LinkedIn. (Side note: It’s so humbling and exciting to hear other business strategists I respect, like Jasmine, are dropping my name…) That being said, I don’t care how many times I have to repeat it: if you’re wanting to grow your personal brand (no matter what your industry!) you need to be using LinkedIn TODAY. In this episode, we talk: What makes LinkedIn unique compared to other platforms (and why you need to be active on it NOW) The types of businesses/niches LinkedIn works for (hint: it’s all of them) Whether or not your ideal client is even on LinkedIn (and how to help them find you) The simple changes you can make to optimize your profile today My “3 Branding Laws” Top mistakes users make and what NOT to do How to sell yourself and your products on LinkedIn (even without ever having to create content!) Mastering the art of content creation for busy people! (And more!) #80 Stacy Tuschl on What it Takes to Make 7-Figures, Investing in Yourself, & Creating Unstoppable Foot Traffic to Your Small Business

For today’s guest, the ever-talented multipreneur Stacy Tuschl, navigating the polar worlds of brick-and-mortar businesses and the online space, is just another day in the office. From starting her own dance studio in her parent’s backyard when she was fresh out of high school (quickly becoming a 7-figure business!), to spontaneously deciding to create a second, online business coaching empire simply for the challenge, Stacy is as saavy with business as they come, but also not afraid to jump outside of her comfort zone to learn what she doesn’t know. When it comes to the concerns, marketing strategies, and priorities of brick-and-mortar businesses and the online space, it can sometimes seem like there’s a big divide between the two, with a physical business seeming “old school.” This is why I’m so blown away by Stacy, who not only forged an empire for herself in both worlds, but now teaches other local business owners through her programs and content how to further their impact using strategic online marketing. Tune in below to hear Stacy tell it herself, including valuable insights on: How she developed her business to be unique in the marketplace Pricing: how to figure out what to charge The recipe to creating a 7-figure business that can function entirely on it’s own! The steps she took to approaching online marketing, deciding what works and what doesn’t The incredible value in investing in yourself How she launched her first mastermind, podcast, events, and more The differences between brick-and-mortar and online businesses, plus the marketing strategies that work for both How to scale up while niching down Gender dynamics in the coaching world Balancing running a household with running a business The best strategies in hiring/building a team! You’ll want to bust out the notes for this one! #79 How Personal Relationships Affect Your Brand & Business with Brittany Krystle & Danielle Prahl

On today’s episode, we are digging deep into a topic that truly affects everyone’s business: personal relationships. I brought my bff and online business expert Danielle Prahl back to join me in this conversation because she has had completely different relationship experiences to provide additional insights I might not have. [If you don’t know who Danielle is, scroll down for our previous episodes together!] Relationships can have a huge effect on our careers and professional journeys in both the short term and long term, whether you’re an entrepreneur or not. I am NOT a relationship expert and I definitely don’t claim to be, but I am someone who has had to make large decisions that have affected my personal life in order to get what I want in my professional life, and large decisions in my professional life to benefit my personal life. I’ve had to prioritize and sacrifice on both sides over the last decade and it’s a balancing act that doesn’t end, especially since our partners are evolving and changing alongside us. With that in mind, we dig into: - how relationships affect your business - the importance of support from those closest to you - how settling for less than you deserve affects other areas of your life - being fully in or fully out - if your partner’s personal brand and reputation is a reflection of your own - women-specific cultural judgements - surrounding yourself with others with good relationships - communicating expectations with your partner and more! -------------------------------- *Free LinkedIn Training!  For more from Brittany & Danielle: What's Stopping You FREEBIE! #78 Beauty by Dr. Kay on Branding, Business, Botox, & Body Positivity

I love female entrepreneurs who do it all and Dr. Kay Durairaj, aka @Beautybydrkay, is a woman who does it fearlessly.      Dr. Kay is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, and board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. She is also a clinical professor at UCLA/Olive View Medical Center and Chair of the Department of ENT at Huntington Memorial Hospital.   On top of her list of qualifications and achievements, she is highly respected as an artist and surgeon both inside and outside the medical community. Her natural approach to facial rejuvenation is sought after by patients from around the world. As both an artist and a surgeon, she believes in the science of beauty and wants to teach her approach to her colleagues from around the world through her Mastery of Aesthetics course. In 2018, her podcast, Beauty Bytes with Dr. Kay: Secrets of a Plastic Surgeon premiered at #2 on the iTunes Fashion & Beauty Charts (here's my episode on her show!). Dr. Kay is also a business owner, a mom, a content creator, and is considered a huge influencer in the medical and aesthetics industry. She has turned her Instagram presence into a larger brand with her own skin care line, events, speaking engagements and more coming up!  I don’t care if I sound like a broken record but I’m going to keep showing these wonderful examples of professionals who show up consistently online and how it explodes their business. Industry influence is real, and now, because of the brand she’s built, Dr. Kay can take her business and personal brand in any direction she wants, which is exactly what she’s doing. In this episode, we cover a lot of ground. We talk about: how content has changed her business her content process and how she’s branded herself how she’s running (and now scaling!) her business to keep up with demand who is influencing what people want to look like influencer marketing - both working with influencers and as one herself how she can reconcile body positivity with the fact that she’s making changes to others what she tells teenagers who want work done when and how she says no to patients & more! I really wanted to have this conversation because there is still such a stigma around the aesthetics industry. And there shouldn’t be. I do not think there is anything wrong with making enhancements or improvements when it comes from a healthy place.  Whether we like it or not, appearance plays a large role in perception - not only how other people see you, but also how you see yourself. It’s a topic that seems to bring up a lot of feelings of shame and judgement, and it's something most people don’t want to admit they care about or maintain. Aesthetics is a huge business and only getting bigger. And it’s also not just for celebrities - these conversations around body positivity need to be happening openly because we are watching new generations grow up in a world where altering your appearance in some way is a regular thing - whether it’s Facetune, filters, injectibles, or surgery, so please enjoy my conversation with the very talented and accomplished Dr. Kay. #77: Ingrid De La Mare - Kenny (Part 2): on Turning Adversity into Influence, Dealing with Haters, & Living the Gangster Chic Lifestyle

This week's episode is Part 2 of my very candid conversation with Monaco-based fitness and wellness entrepreneur, Ingrid De La Mare - Kenny. If you haven't listened to Part 1, go back and listen here because her background really gives context into why her brand, business, and influence is what it is today, and why it's going to continue to grow and why I have such respect for her. In Part 2, we dig into all about how Ingrid left fashion and moved to Monaco, her transition to fitness, and how she started The Method and leveraged the online space and Instagram to grow. We're going to talk about her product lines, how she develops products, her content creation process, how she's growing her business, how she deals with haters, and what her gangster chic lifestyle philosophy is all about and more. So please enjoy my Part 2 interview with the gritty and chic Ingrid De La Mare - Kenny. #76 Ingrid De La Mare - Kenny (Part 1): on Turning Adversity into Influence, Dealing with Haters, & Living the Gangster Chic Lifestyle

This conversation had so much value I made it a TWO parter. Ingrid De La Mare - Kenny is the Monaco based founder of The Method (a booming fitness and wellness brand!), a content creator (her IG is one of my faves!), a podcaster, a mom of  3 AND she’s chic AF… but none of those things alone are what have fascinated me about her brand. Ingrid’s brand to me speaks to exactly how influence online or offline is supposed to work. Ingrid gets results for clients online, but I attribute her influence to something more than that and it all starts with you hearing about her story and path to where she is today. Spoiler alert: we talk going to law school, working in fashion, raising a child with autism, serving prison time…  Part 1 truly sets the stage for the why, what, and how of Ingrid’s brand today (Part 2 is all about the details of Ingrid’s evolution and the birth and growth of her business and brand!) #75 Brittany Krystle on The Secrets to Successful Networking

Networking. Even the word alone inspires thoughts of awkward exchanges, clammy hands, and business cards. It really doesn’t need to be that way. Whether you like it or not, other people matter for your success. They are your potential: colleagues, partners, employees, employers, customers, clients, consumers, investors… Successful networking is not about transactions  - it’s about having true one to one connections. On this week’s episode, I hang out with you solo to talk: How I measure “successful” networking How to network if you’re an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert How I prepare for a networking event Networking in more traditional work environments Fostering relationships outside of your own work environment & industry The one thing you can start doing now that I truly believe helps exponentially move the relationship process forward & more! #74 Cayla Craft on 7-Figure Sales Strategies, Mindset, Masterminds & Becoming Mommy Millionaire

Last week, Cayla Craft aka Mommy Millionaire interviewed me on all things personal branding, finding your voice, and LinkedIn (If you missed it, click here to listen). This week I'm incredibly excited to share my interview with her. Cayla is a former nurse turned self made millionaire and lifestyle entrepreneur. She’s also an author, podcaster, content creator... you name it.  I'm not exaggerating when I say that I re-listened to this episode and took notes for myself. Cayla is a woman of many talents, but it's really an understatement to call her a sales machine. Sales is an area that makes a lot of people uncomfortable and while Cayla is naturally talented at it, we get into the nitty gritty of her process and she really let me dig in. On this episode, we talk: Cayla's 7-figure sales process & strategies Mindset: her favorite & most effective practices The importance of masterminds & investing in yourself Common sales objections & how to overcome them How she's evolving her business & more!   To connect with Cayla: Website My ep. on The Mommy Millionaire Podcast The Mommy Millionaire Podcast Instagram Cayla's Book To connect with me, Brittany Krystle: Instagram Twitter LinkedIn Website Facebook #beyondinfluentialpodcast

#73 Personal Branding: Getting Started, Finding Your Voice & Why Linkedin (The Mommy Millionaire Podcast)

Whenever I do an interview or have a conversation that gets great feedback from someone else’s audience, I always want to make sure to share it with you too. Every interviewer has a different style, perspective, and focus, which means there are always different tidbits and takeaways (and of course as my business evolves, my answers change too!).    I was recently a guest on Cayla Craft’s The Mommy Millionaire podcast.  If you don’t know who Cayla, she is a former nurse now self-made millionaire, a mom of 3, and serial entrepreneur (she's also an author, content creator, podcaster.. the list goes on). She and I were connected through a mutual friend, but we hit it off because there was immediate mutual respect. She is straight to the point and wastes zero time, which I love. On top of that, her sales skills are next level… so next level that next week’s episode is an interview I did with her about her sales process and how exactly she scaled to 7 figures and beyond.   On this episode, we cover: Personal branding: Why you need to get started & how  Finding your voice & content creation Passive income & course creation LinkedIn: why it's the platform to be on The one question I ask myself DAILY & more!

#72 Three Easy Ways To Transform Your Business This Year with Brittany Krystle & Danielle Prahl

If I had to start over in my business… from scratch... what would I do? This conversation was so important that I had to share it with you. My bff and online biz expert Danielle Prahl and I sat down to discuss it on her Rule Breaker, Dream Maker podcast and we narrowed it down to THREE specific things that greatly transformed both of our businesses. Not only would we focus on them FIRST if we had to start again, but we both wished we would have implemented them sooner in our current businesses. On this episode, we discuss: Why personal branding & creating content is IMPORTANT AF for your present & future What passive income is, how it works, what to expect, and why you should create some Why you should hone your voice before you outsource The reason why investing in your business and yourself is the best investment you can make Plus the #1 thing you want to make sure you have in business ------ I want to share with you something special that I've been working on with business expert Danielle Prahl that starts MAY 1 and this week’s episode is directly related to it. Danielle has been the secret weapon of some of the biggest multi 6  & 7 figure earners in the online business space - not only helping them through launches from mindset to strategy and execution but also helping them find new ways to monetize (I’m talking names like Jenna Kutcher and Jasmine Star to name only a few).     She and I really wanted to create something that is fun and accessible to EVERYONE listening who really wants to learn to leverage the online space to build their brand and business, but who might not be currently able to invest what it takes work with us one on one.   So we decided to create THE MASTERMIND!
