How can NFTs drive social justice?
Maliha Abidi is a Pakistani-American artist and social activist who has been painting and campaigning for the last 10 years, having published two books ‘Pakistan For Women’ and ‘Rise: Extraordinary Women of Colour who Changed the World’.
She has now taken her talents and applied them in Web3 to create a collection of 10,000 women on the blockchain in the form of NFTs - whether as female coders, scuba divers, artists, photographers and more!
We talk about social justice, art for food, building an NFT community and how Web3 can unlock real social change.

What is the blockchain?
Chrissy Hill has been a lawyer, an investment banker, a COO of an institute and now has turned her attention to the blockchain. Chrissy sits on the C-suite of Parity Technologies, which builds blockchain infrastructure for other companies and where she is General Counsel.
Chrissy is four months into her Web3 career, having made a major pivot from being COO at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and like many of us she looks to metaphors and analogies to make sense of this new set of technologies.
We talk about how the blockchain works in simple terms, and how culture differs between the public sector and the hectic new world of Web3.

Debbie is a British entrepreneur who has scaled and sold several businesses, including selling Love Home Swap for $53 million in 2017. She is the cofounder and chair of AllBright, which is a global community for women comprising Members’ Clubs, a digital Academy for women to skill up, and a live events programme.
Debbie was awarded an OBE for services to business in 2017, and was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Evening Standard Business awards. In this episode we talk about how women can harness the power of Web3 for their economic empowerment.

Digital fashion: What will we wear in the metaverse?
Maghan McDowell is Senior Innovation Editor at Vogue Business, where she has carved out a name for the title as being the number one place to read about metaverse fashion.
She was previously at WWD, Business of Fashion, and she was style reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle. Maghan has also been a lecturer in magazine management and fashion journalism for the University of Florida and the Academy of Art University respectively.

Mila Kunis’s cofounder Lindsey on how NFTs can revolutionise entertainment
Lindsey McInerney is a self-confessed internet nerd, who went from leading Tech & Innovation for a global drinks company to running a blockchain entertainment company with Hollywood actor Mila Kunis.
Lindsey made a name for herself by leading Stella Artois’ major partnership with digital horse-racing platform ZED RUN on a set of branded NFTs, and as a result she was named on The 30 Most Influential People in the Metaverse.
She is now CEO of The Sixth Wall which she cofounded with Mila Kunis, releasing short series The Gimmicks, where the audience can use their NFT membership tokens to vote on episode storylines in a Web3 version of ‘choose your own adventure’.
